Poll: S or M?

Slightly sadist from the angle of control. I like being in control so I don't like recieving pain as it makes me feel not in control. As such being in control means I choose what happens, whether it be giving joy or inflicting pain.

As for physical relations I definalty prefer to dominate and give pain, than to submit and recive it.

Mostly depends on if I'm feeling angst or not. I do know I have a slight sadistic streak but if I'm in a bad place I might be in a bit more of a masochist mood.

It's kinda complicated and I don't think about it that much.

When boxing (Muay Thai), I receive an alarming increase in alacrity after having taken a couple of body blows or hard blocks, but then it's always a thrill to win a fight (before helping my downed opponent to his feet with a small smile that says 'I own you now, *****!').

And I like being bitten. Been flogged once and I honestly didn't mind it (though my GF at the time was more of an M than me so we never did it again).

I really don't know... I'm a submissive, so I enjoy being tied up and having all the control taken away from me... So I do enjoy slight amounts of pain, but that's more because I'm submitting rather than enjoying pain.
So I guess if anything I'm close to a masochist?

Neither, well, most of the time. I'm a bit of a sadist in some games, and I'm a bit of a masochist in the sense that I played through I wanna be The Guy twice.

For some reason this question popped into my head just a little bit ago. Are most people Sadists, Masochists, or neither? I'm sure that we all have at least a touch of one or the other in us, but most of us probably fall right in the middle. Anyway, answer the poll and explain why you think you're that way.

EDIT: For those who might not know or can't recall which is which, sadists like to inflict pain, whereas masochists like to experience pain. And by like, I mean get their rocks off. XD

I kinda like being dominated, so I guess I could take the masochist role if my partner wanted to try it.

Never had the opportunity myself, but I'll try anything once.
