Serial Killers fascinating individuals aren?t they? Withen this thread we will discuss, compare, contrast, them. I added a nifty poll too. <color=green>Also, if you made a fictional Serial Killer what would you call them?
READER BEWARE: This thread is about murders so it?s obviously going to be somewhat graphic. Please post NO pictures that wouldn't be appropriate for children.
Ed Gein ? An American he seemed to think that making furniture and clothing out of other human beings was appropriate. Every major film serial killer seems like they took some inspiration from him. Jack The Ripper ? We don?t know if he (or she?) was an Englishmen but they at least lived in London town he had a very particular way about how to treat women of the world?s oldest profession. [a href=http://crime.about.com/od/murder/p/gein.htm] The biggest mystery of the 19th century![/a] he was never caught and could still be at large.
Ted Bundy ? Such a lady killer. Ha! Gallows humor. He was famous because his trial was so widely publicized and shocking to 1970?s and 80?s America. Rather graphic images were broadcast which was unusual in America at the time. He was also very handsome which made getting female victims much easier for him. He is the Subject of a Jane?s Addiction song (or rather the trial was) [a href=http://www.crimemagazine.com/ted_bundy.htm] Ladies, would you go home with such a dapper young man?[/a]
Jeffery Dahmer- a man of strange appetites. He would troll for young homosexual men and then? eat them and save what he couldn?t eat for later. I?ve always been confused how you can live in an apartment and have no one hear/smell these deeds?

Wayne Williams- You probably haven?t heard of this one. I felt the need to include at least one non-white male. He was a child killer specifically black children. My older brothers remember the television coverage vividly as they were small kids at the time and lived in the area. His murders caused much racial tension in the already racially tense city. Until it was discovered the killer was a black man. Prince and Deep Purple did songs about him[a href=http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/serial_killers/predators/williams/index_1.html] and he wanted to be a radio DJ[/a]
Son of Sam aka David Berkowitz ? The devil made me do it! Held New York City in the grip of fear a year specifically one summer. Sent letters to the cops. Claimed he was in a cult (a one man cult) Also unusual that he used a .44 gun. Did I mention the devil that made him do it was [a href=http://crime.about.com/od/murder/p/sonofsam.htm] his neighbor?s dog?[/a] By the by he has a parole hearing next year. We?ll see how that goes.
Dorothea Helen Puente - Girl Power! Figured I?d throw a woman in there. Like most female Serial Killers she killed people she knew. She ran a boarding house for the elderly and mentally disabled. If someone complained she offed them and buried them in the back yard than collected the insurance money. Many female serial killers have a money motive. Tsutomu Miyazaki ? The Otaku Murderer. He was born with his hands fused to his wrists. So at some point he decided that he would kill, rape, drink the blood of and then keep the hands of little girls. He was named as such because he (allegedly) had a vast collection of Anime and Slasher films.
