Ah, a subject that I love...
I picked Jack the Ripper because some of my tastier favorites weren't included. And while Dorthea was indeed a killer, there are a few more interesting female killers you could have picked, like Jane Toppan, who killed 31 and was an atypical female lust killer. Or Elizabeth Bathory. Tee hee hee.
I do have a serial killer character, who believes what they are doing is ridding the world of an ever-spreading virus that causes evil. The only way to remove the virus from the 'affected' is to remove the parts of the face that become distorted. So, 'The Faceless Killer.' Lol. I think they end up killing 19 or so.

From the list I'd pick Jack The Ripper, but if he was on there I'd choose Henry Howard Holmes [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H._H._Holmes], just because of the lengths he went to, like building hotels with death traps and hidden murder rooms.

Getting people sick by making them food and never showing signs of the disease herself. Although, her kill count would just barely qualify her here in the states (only three of her victims died). I don't think they count as "murderers" (OK, Kevorkian probably does, but they asked him to do it), but they killed people.
It's always debated pretty heavily who has the most. Since many killers lie or will even claim to kill someone they haven't for the recognition.George144 said:
