You know...
First off, yes, this.

OP: They're okay as long as they're in the place not generally displayed to the public. But a hickey on the side of my neck? No thank you. I get teased enough at work being the only girl; my coworkers really don't need any more ammunition. Also, my father is finally starting to realize that I Might Be Getting Some Action (I'm 24), so he's actually suspicious now. I'd like to keep my squeaky-clean rep with him, and I'd like to not have to deplete my stock of pricey stage makeup to do it.

In my opinion, a little goes a long way. Although, every now and then in the heat of the moment things will sometimes get a bit more intense, which isn't always a terrible thing.

I have been with a couple of girls who scratched the shit out of my back in bed. I don't really mind it to be honest, saying that I wouldn't ask the girl to do it to me. So yeah, 'They're alright'.

I can't buy one atm though.
You can buy some from cosplay sites for fairly cheap... or alternatively you can make them with relative ease, although they tend to be more uncomfortable to wear if you aren't good at that kind of thing... although as said before some people want them to feel uncomfortable.
http://collarfactory.com/ is a great place to get one :3
But I can't afford one at the moment >.<

One of my gf's friends made my one so I can't really recommend anywhere... apparently they're easy to make once you get the things to make it... though mine is a fairly simple one and he did do a lot of craft classes at school.

Mine cost about £25 (not sure what that is in dollars) but that was probably mates rates. I love my collar... just need to hide it from family... I really don't want to have that conversation with my dad.

Mines a simple leather one with a thin metal pattern over it and a small bell. Though i live in quite a cold country... so it's not uncomfortable to wear.

Why do you where one? If you have a bondage, masochist thing going on that wouldn't be much of a problem ;3
I actually want 2 seperate ones, one for the previous reasons and the other as more of a furry collar.

My gf and I have a Submissive/Dominant relationship...so mine's more a sign of ownership kind of thing, so it's not really meant to be uncomfortable... It can be tightened if she wants, but she has other things for when I misbehave ;P

All right but don?t be surprised if this backfires on you. One of your threads has already been locked
You really are just a negative person, aren't you? XD

Sure, one out of the numerous threads about sex that I've made was locked. I've not been warned, put on probation, or otherwise spoken to by the mods in any disciplinary manner. In fact, I messaged one of the mods that I know and asked them to have a look at the thread to see if I had broken any rules. I don't believe that I did, but I think the potential for the "Sexual misadventures of the Escapist" to go into areas that might not be entirely wholesome is fairly obvious. I did say in my OP that the stories should be PG-13, but when someone challenged it, asking why they should bother keeping it PG-13 when the mods don't really care anyway, I committed the ultimate hubris by telling them that if they wanted to post something about PG-13 on there, that they would suffer modwrath, not me. Alas, it seems I was mistaken.

Either that or the guy that posted a story about prostitutes made people realize that the thread could go south very quickly.

I'd say that about 90% or more of my threads are sexual in nature, and only one of those has been locked. I'd say I have a pretty good track record, all things considered. I think it's mainly my approach on the subjects that keeps them from being hammared by the mods, but who knows. Mod works in mysterious ways.

I'd just like to say that I'm happy that people feel that they can be so open in my threads about stuff. I have a poll about S&M if you want to check my profile for it.

Or you could search the title, "Poll:S or M?" if you'd like. Since a lot of people are commenting on that, I figured I might as well make my other topic known. I also have a fetish thread "Fetishes and why you think you have them" if you'd like to look into that as well.

Have fun everyone. XD

That?s why I think this will backfire. Sooner or later one of the mods will get sick of all these fetish threads either because of the subject matter or because of the kinds of people they attract.
The kinds of people they attract.

You are aware that most everyone, at some point in their life, has sex, right? It's a natural thing for people to do. It's kind of part of being alive. It's not even part of being human, animals do it too. I don't see the problem with it.

A few people joined the Escapist because they wanted to respond to threads I've made. I've had people in my threads say that they've never thought about it and now looked at themselves in a new light because of my threads. I do these threads to get an idea of what's going on with these topics, but if I can post a thread where people enjoy themselves by talking about things, or learn new things about themselves, that's all I need.

That's my goal here. I want people to be able to talk about this stuff in order to learn more about themselves in a safe and relatively judgment free environment. Because of the relative anonymity that the internet allows, people might be more comfortable to discuss their sexual behavior without worrying about being judged as much as they would if they were to do so in person.

The point of my threads is research, in a manner of speaking. However, if my thread can allow people to enjoy themselves and have casual talk about something that's sush an important part in life as well as learn something about themselves while doing it, that is the highest compliment to me. Even if one person out of one hundred comes out of my thread having learned something and enjoyed themselves while doing it, I'll deal with the minor annoyance I've caused those other ninety-nine people. Because that annoyance will only be brief, but that learning experience will last a lifetime.
