Poll: Sex or Gaming?

I had to laugh at my friend earlier who found himself in a predicament. He could not decide if he should attend a table top game at a friend's house or if he should hang out with his crush, a hot girl who was ready to have sex with him at that point in their relationship.

Now maybe its just me but I am pretty sure that if any of his friends would have had this same choice, none of them would have shown up to play the game that night. So help me out escapists, is sex as important to men as society makes it seem or would you choose the game over the girl?

Tried to edit the sex option to allow for straight or homosexual preferences, didn't work so just pretend that it says gender of your choice, instead of member of opposite sex. Cheerio!

Well, I guess it really comes down to how much sex you actually have on a regular basis. Like, if you're your typical kind of playboy then I guess you already enough sex in general to "take a break" from time to time to go do something else.
A brilliant example of this is the Bavaria commercial of Hugh Hefner and how, when surrounded 24/7 by beautiful playboy bunnies, all he really begins to care about is being with his mates.
Also, the thing you edited to the poll came through. It sometimes does take a while for the site to pick up on it though, so you just have to be patient.

I'm an 18 year old male, I guess I just don't understand these things...

You see, sex is great and all, but it lasts about, what, 5 minutes. Maybe 10 if you've worked on your endurance. But a good game of Twilight Imperium 3rd ed with 6 players can last up to 12 hours. It's all about which choice gives you more bang for your buck.

It isn't really about sex or gaming. It is about if you are the kind of person who honors their obligations or if you are irresponsible and selfish.

If I had the obligation to game I wouldn't toss them for a date.
On the other hand, if the question were worded differently: You made a date with a hot person. Then your friends call up and ask if you want to play in an unplanned impromptu game the same night. Then I pick the date, because I made that obligation first.

It isn't about what the think is. The question is do you honor your word or does your word means nothing. My word means something.

What if the character interactions in your RP game call for them to have sex? Two birds, one stone. Well, 2 stones. And probably only one bird, unless your gaming group has an unusual gender balance.

Still, as I'm neither tabletop gaming nor having sex, not sure I can call it either way.

Fixed. I chose sex over the other thing, knowing my friends, were just gonna end up talking about the same shit we always do.
