Poll: Sex or Gaming?

I can't really answer this question.

I've never been in the same/a similar situation so I couldn't really give a legit answer.

I would give up many, many things to go to a face to face gaming session rather than play over skype (live on opposite side of the continent).

But I suppose if I was in the same situation your mate seemed to be in, (ie. the beginning of a possible relationship with a girl he likes) the best parallel to draw would be, would I have, when I first met my girlfriend, passed up a gaming session to go see her?

The answer is yes. But I also went to an over night LAN once rather than hang out with her, it's all good in moderation.

I would choose the tabletop game.
I haven't had sex, but I imagine that if i was to, i would just end up fretting over whether i performed well and worry about it and not ask the other person if i was good because it might get awkward and feel ashamed if the answer was "no" and... *deep breath*

They are usually a great big barrel of laughs. I guess it depends.

If the second option was just to hang out with said person or go out with them or something, i would probably do it. But just sex and no more? Sign me up for the tabletop game. Its a good laugh every time and when i hang out with my friends to do something like that, i get a warm feeling of comradery inside.

okay i love gaming and i have DM'd a couple times and had fun. the one at the last campaign i ran had a girl that was ungodly hot, even outside of the spectrum of girls i usually date (i like bigger girls who a bit on the nerdier on the side. she was slender with a great rack) and if she told me she wanted to suck my cock right then and there, i would tell everyone to get the hell out and keep going until we are exhusted and completely done. i am a lover of games and all things nerdy but...i can say i like sex more

Doesn't matter how attractive a girl is, unless it's one of my top 4, i wouldn't pass up gaming with friends and sharing stories of days past. If it were a meaningful relationship i would pass on gaming. Cause sure for some Sex is Sex. But when 2 people are truly in love and want to be together it is more then that.

I haven't yet. But if you met my friends you wouldn't be saying that. They bail on me constantly. So really it wouldn't be so bad.

well, its different if your friends are asshats, but my friends never actually bailed on me, so i would often take a good time with them over meaningless sex.

I would pick gaming personally, sex is fun and all but I really just don't care about sex most of the time. I'd rather play some form of game, be it tabletop or video, go for a run, or paint some models. Every girl I've dated has been more interested in sex than me.

I'm wondering how different the results of the poll would be if only Table Top gamers voted...
(I noticed a lot of posts when I was browsing saying how gaming was always there because all they had to do was turn on their console/PC or claim they don't like table top gaming... where as Table Top gaming is not something that's easy to throw together by any means and isn't readily available whenever...)

and how different it would be if only people who'd organized a regular game...

Depends, with sex I can have allot more fun in allot less time, but with gaming I can have more fun over a longer period of time so it really depends on what I've got going for the day.

the depends entirely on the situation. in this alternate universe i have friends, so am i also still married?

cause i'd probably skip the gaming for sex with my wife, but if it was someone i didn't even know, the sex could be dull. the gaming however would probably not be.
