Poll: Should I buy "Borderlands?"

The graphics look great and I can play 4 player co-op with my friends, and is an rpg (which I love), but is it all hype? Should I buy it or not?

I haven't played it yet, but everyone I know who's played it seems to like it and it got some pretty good reviews. Therefore, I'd say yes.

I bought it yesterday, and my expectations were not very high, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is.
If you have the money, and are going to spend it on a game anyway, if you like FPSs and RPGs, might as well spend the cash on Borderlands.

These kinds of topic will not help in changing your mind. Watch or read a review about it, read some borderland gameplay topics and watch some early walkthroughs. If this kind of topic helps in any way, well I give it a good recommendation if you just love FPS / Multiplayer / Exploration / Customization / Looting. Think of it as an MMOFPS.

I haven't met a single person who didn't like it. One of my friends referred to it as "gay," but he plays Halo 3 almost exclusively and uses homophobic slurs to describe everything he's never played before so his opinion doesn't count.

I got it on friday and am absolutely loving it. Tons of fun and the multiplayer is great.
