I've played both, PC version is far superior, even Bioware admits it. The only "bugs" in the PC version are the ones that both versions have and couldn't be ironed out. Mostly physics glitches related to biotics and random rare chance occurances, nothing you'll be constantly seeing.

Your comp should run it perfectly fine. The PC version improvements are worth it even if you could only somewhat handle it. Better inventory, better context minigames for hacking, greatly reduced load times, greatly reduced tearing and real mapping pop in, and fixes the 360's looping audio glitch. (where music on Noveria would get stuck in certain spots for some reason)

360, with the PC version you have finite installs but with the 360 you get to play as much as you want.
This is no longer true, they allowed deauthorization last week.

Doesn't run too well on my comp (ie I gotta turn everything all the way down and play at 640x480 and it still lags) with a Geforce 8500GT.
Other than that, it's a great game, I'd buy the PC version if you have the specs.

Im not sure what to put. You definately should buy the game. I owned both version (not at the same time. Im not sad) and they're pretty much the same. Combat is slightly better on PC and inventory system is slightly better, but as someone said it can be buggy in places.

Depends which one you'd prefer. Ill click PC though I think. :)

Try to be at least halfway to recommended after you run the test.

and: PC if you can have decent results, otherwise id say go for 360 cause you wont see it in full glory

I have a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300, I don't know if that is good or not....
by all means, get the 360 version! I don't think you'll be having fun on your PC, as its appears to be a laptop with a run-of-the-mill mobile graphics card and those suck. I just looked it up, you can hardly play Quake 4 on that thing!

As much as I'd like to recommend the PC version for all its improvements over the 360 version - get it for the 360. By all means, because it's totally worth it, I love it!

OK, looking through the comments about my computer and looking at the website AlphaOmega linked, I would have to say that I will go for the Xbox 360 version. I was never sure about my PC's specs in the first place. Even if it is not as good on Xbox. It helps that I'm a bit of an achievement whore as well :p

This is a question I have been pondering for a while. I have heard rave reviews but I'm not completely convinced. I like RPGs, have time to go into depth in stories, the game is cheap, but then I hit another wall; what platform? I've heard it is tonnes better on PC but not completely sure my PC can handle it. I've got an Xbox 360 as well. My computer specs are....
Thanks!
all that shows is your OS & CPU. the most important part is your graphics card. What's that? I'm assuming since its a laptop (mobile CPU), that it's something weak. In which case you should get it for 360. if it's a gaming laptop though and it's newer than a year old then get ME for PC.

I prefer the xbox, it's not a very challenging game shooter wise so a mouse is overkill for that. The item navigation bit can get somewhat annoying but if you just sell of the stuff you don't need it's easily manageable.

Also the graphics won't matter, they aren't bad on the xbox and while they are better on the pc it's not something you notice unless you play both versions.

I can't say if you'll be able to play it properly with your rig, but even if you have to town down the graphics a bit, you should definitely buy it. It's a game with plenty of replay value, and a lot of things to be discovered. Wonderful gameplay, and a great mix of RPG and FPS elements. I most certainly enjoyed it.

I have it on the 360, but get it any way you prefer. With the PC you don't have to pay for the DLC and you do on Xbox Live.. Also they said that a new DLC was coming, so it'll save you some money too.

Yes.
And considering you have (what looks like) the exact same acer as me, you shouldn't have any problems running it.
