Poll: Should I get a ps3?

Not really, for the same reason i'm not getting a 360.
theres so many good games that both systems can play, and kinda few exclusives, so ask yourself, are there good games on teh 360 you haven't played yet? do you have time to play every good 360 game, and still need more? If not then why would you get a PS3, when you've got more good games than you have time/money to play/get on the 360?
Sure tehres good games on the 360 i can't play cause i have a PS3, but theres also good games on the PS3 i'll never get to play, cause i don't have time to play every game i want, and currently most of my game time goes to online PC gaming, mainly HoN, anyways, cause my friends keep calling me and ask me to come online and rape some n00b-face.
Also, i haven't got a single blu-ray movie yet even though i have a PS3, they're still way to expensive compared to DVD's.
So ask yourself, is it really worth the money, to get a PS3 purely for blu-ray and the exclusives?

I don't like the PS3. It has only one exclusive game I want (Disgaea 3).
Just look through the list of exclusives and try to sum up what you'd like to play on it, if you're lucky (or rather, if Sony's lucky) you'll find a lot that appeals to you and then yes, it is a good investment.
If not, then just stick to your XBox.

This is just my oppinion but i don't think so. As someone with all 3 consoles your better off getting 6 or 7 good 360 games. I mean MGS 4 Heavy Rain and the futur GoW 3 is all it has (I didn't include Uncharted 2 on purpose[its so overratted])
I second that. "Quick time event the movie game" so what? It's a great way to develop a story through using player choises.. the biggest choises you have in FPS or RPG is pretty much do one thing, on thing happens.. do another thing.. another thing happens.soapyshooter said:

Some people may indeed like that and therefore is a buying incentive for them, this is all based off of opinion. I got the PS3 for the free internet, and the few exclusives at the time which were Resistance, Killzone, and Ratchet and Clank, all of which I am to this day very happy with over paying for the continued use of the 360.Souplex said:

Motorstorm Pacific Rift
Valkyria Chronicles
MAG

I found it largely fine. The only problem was that sometimes the writing in game was very hard to make out. I used to play on a 24/26 inch (can't remember) SDTV and I'd have to move up to the Tv and squint to read some of it. Almost every game that had small writing I had to do this. Otherwise there are times when I can't really tell the difference.Allan53 said:

Though I'm an Xbox 360 owner (and as of last Thursday technically a Wii owner) I would recommend getting a PS3. I don't own a PS3 but I'm really trying to save for one. The exclusives for it look amazing and so does that Homes system you get. Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2 and MSG4 all look brilliant games that I really want.
Looking through these comment on here I really wish people would stop nagging at the fee the 360 charges, it's not a large fee (£5 is not much even for a college student that earns next to nothing) and it does include a lot of perks for that charge, also you can go on Xbox live for free just not on ranked matches(For some games). Though I think all of these console wars should just stop I think they are stupid. I actually feel embarrassed when I see a 360 fan-boy ranting on about how good the console is and how other consoles are shit. I find it even worse when every one starts ranting about the hardware and such (why is it an important thing to start comparing?).

If you have the money, go for it, unless you'd like to pick up some games for your 360. The fact is, the PS3 and 360 are practically the same. PS3 had Blu-ray, and some great exclusives, like LittleBigPlanet, MAG, Uncharted, White Knight Chronicles, etc..., but the community online is bare-bones, and while it has good downloadable games, the game add-on selection compared to the 360 is laughable.
I just recently got one and think it is the superior console. Note: I said console, not gaming platform. The 360 probably has more online players if that's what you're into.
Regardless, I don't get into the fanboy shit. Both consoles are great purchases and have great exclusives and both have a dear spot in my living room.
The out of the box wifi of the ps3 was a big deal to me, for what that's worth.
