If you're going to compare on similar features then it's Xbox 360 S 250GB - $300, 3 year product service plan $80, 4 years Xbox Live Gold - $240, Play & Charge Kit - $20 - total $640. Exact same features with the PS3 except lasting twice as long, $350, and that's not even counting Blu-Ray and features the 360 doesn't have at all.Karim Saad said:If you're going to give advice on systems, at least compare the prices of consoles with similar features, not random models.Kagim said:Ps3 349CAD

Price comparisons never turn out favourably for the 360 unless it's this:
Xbox 360 Arcade - $150
Xbox Live Silver - $0
VGA HD Cable from Monoprice - $13
RCA->3.5mm adaptor from a dollar store - $1
Using current LCD monitor - $0
Using current speakers - $0
Using already owned rechargable batteries - $0
HDD on clearance or second hand - $20
Total cost: $184 + tax.
But as I'm sure you've noticed, you can't get the 360 Arcade most places anymore.
So it's Xbox 360 Super Elite - $250
VGA HD Cable - $13
RCA-3.5mm - $1
Existing monitor - $0
Existing Speakers - $0
Xbox Live Silver - $0
Total cost $264 + tax.
Sadly though, it's perfectly viable to get a second hand PS3 as they're quite reliable and no reason to think there's anything faulty if they're being sold (unless it's a 4usb model from gamestop). You're looking at $150-$185 for an 80GB PS3 second hand, without tax.
