I've had a few bugs and 2-3 crashes.

The biggest bug so far (I.E. the only one that affected gameplay) is that a quest important NPC suddenly had catastrophic heart failure or something because she just dropped dead for no reason. Which means that I can't complete 2-3 quests. FML.

PS3: has a bit of a framerate problem at times, found some see-through textures and I saw a giant's hammer floating in mid-air some 5 meters up. I'm level 21 now, so I have been playing for more than a few hours.

Oh, and a more annoying one: for a mission one of my companions was replaced with another and now I can't find the old one anymore. Her name was Lydia. If anyone found her, let me know.

Ah, found her, she had hidden herself in the attic of my house (no joke).

In a more disturbing turn of events, she has appropriated my bed, so now I can't sleep in my own damn house!

I have a miscellaneous quest to kill a bandit leader in Nilheim, but when I got there, there were no bandits, just friendly NPC's called Guards.

Though the questmarker did point at one of the rather bandit-looking guards as the target.

Talking to them only sets up a generic "What do you want" reply.

Edit:
Saved the game and killed the guy anyway.
Got the quest complete message.
So I guess they were wrongly labelled,

.... Maybe.

You see, there's a specific area with giants in it. If the giants hit you, well...

Here:

EDIT: I say maybe because, like the bucket thing the Escapist posted the news about, it's unsure if this is a hilarious bug or a hilarious feature.

So far I've seen a book not be able to fall to the ground causing it to make a lot of noise until I read it. Not threatening at all. Seen weapons floating in the air and other items, this happens very rarely but usually in areas where I have fought a dragon and lots of NPCs have died.

And last of all, as um.... doing a mission for the companions.... a really fun one, a certain move you do can sometimes knocks bodies through the floor or makes them disappear, again happens rarely. Not much of a problem as you can't pick up a loot during it. I loved that mission and loved what I got out of it, probably easily fixed.

So far, this a lot better than their past games in terms of bugs.

Edit: Oh and I got this game early and have played A LOT.

on pc,
I had the beginning bug out several times I had to redo it.
I had random people run up to me asking why I didn't help them when it was the first time I saw them.

I've had 3 CTD when using the menus

I killed a dog with fire and his corpse (still lootable) was still standing straight up.

I really hope it's a hilarious and intentional feature. They're freaking giants! They should be able to knock you across the Grand Canyon with a good swing!

I'm finding this one pretty hilarious XD
Holy crap, that's awesome. I don't get paid until next week so I've been playing some of my older, neglected games again. I haven't decided if I'm picking up Skyrim or Arkham City first.

Playing since midnight on xbox, here. Only one 'glitch', but it's hilarious. A giant smacked me and I went flyyyying. I lol'd and that was it.

I'm quite proud of Bethesda on this point. Marked improvement.
Yup, same here. I finally had the power to dual cast fireballs as one big hadoken, I thought I was all that and a bag of chips, so I tried to take on a giant.

The I took out half my mana for that one shot and it barely even dented it's health. It then proceeded to *****-slap my houscarl INTO ORBIT.

It was at that point my magic-power craving soon-to-be evil overlord breton soiled his pants and tried in vain to run away, only to meet the same fate as his late houscarl.

I can see why they left that glitch in the game, it really hammers home the consequences of biting off more than you can chew at the lower levels.

ORBIT I SAY!

I've one major bug because one word wall won't tell me the word I hear the music but the wall doesn't highlight the word and so I can't complete the quest.
and a rather amusing one: I saw a breakdancing dragon skeleton

I killed a bear so hard that it fell through the ground and popped back up a fair ways away. I'm noticing that I'm not so much finding the same bugs from Oblivion, but am actually finding a LOT of bugs exactly the same as Fallout 3. There's even a Speech bug exactly like the EXP glitch from Big Town.

The only bugs I've seen on PC so far.

NPC dialog stopped playing - had to quit steam and relaunch to fix
2 crash to desktops in 30hours of play

The game doesn't let you exit a conversation with an NPC if you open steam chat.
Soul Gems will loose their soul if you drop them - I'm actually going to consider this a feature.
A couple kills have fallen through the map, and some hired bandits have spawned in walls, I've I've also seen some clipping where rocks aren't lined up right, but not as much as I would expect with a game this big.

Overall I'm extremely happy. I'm am a little annoyed by some of the new design decisions but over all they add more than they take away.

I'm still going to rank Morrowind and the best so far but Skyrim is a close second with Oblivion left in the dust.

In a certain puzzle of the mage college quests you need to adjust mirrors with lightbeams and blah blah blah. The lightbeams didn't appear and you can't do anything about it, meaning the quest is stuck. It is kind of game breaking but with the awesomeness of PC, you can always fix it with command console to make yourself finish that quest.

I had this one all the time, didn't think that was a bug :O seemed pretty much like what would happen if a giant would uppercut me with his club :D

The only bug that keeps bugging me (harharhar), is graphical:
There are some walls I can just see through.
I sometimes get lines across surfaces of walls and terrain.

Tried downloading the latest catalyst drivers for my 5770
Tried tweaking the graphical settings like AA and AF

Nothing worked...doesnt stop me from enjoying the game though
Hope it's just a game bug, and that they'll patch it soon :)
