So, I was curious how many of you have been playing Skyrim in third person. I don't really understand why you would do that, except briefly to see what your fancy new armor looks like. But I'd like to know nonetheless.
For me, half the genius of the game is the first person view. But maybe that's just me.
Also, if you play FO3 or FNV different from Skyrim, I'd be curious to know that as well.
I thought as you in the beginning.. I played the game for a whole year never using 3rd person, and then when i started fighting in 3rd person, but combat went from "meh" to "amazing". at least for melee. Spells and archery are better in 1st person.
as for fallout, no, I don't think it would work necessarily as well - the animations weren't quite as good.. the game is more of an FPS, so 1st person would clearly work better in general - the third person shooting is not as good as an actual third person shooter.
