Ask yourself this question. Did you turn down the 'movie' out of morallity or did you do it because you really care about the ffriend?

I turned down the movie because I had 6 friends waiting for me plus a couch surfer who my friends were looking out for (until I got there to take costody back). Was really not any moral panic. Actually, if I wouldn't have had anything to do back then, I'd totally would've gone for a movie. But then this thread would've been called "Should I lie about having slept with my fuck buddy's friend?"

I have a question. Well. Let me tell you a little story instead.

You get to know someone, hang around and have a good time. After going home to this person, you end up having sweet sweet sex. Afterwards, it just feels good.
Time passes and you keep meeting, having a good time and having sex. There are absolutely no strings attached. No expectations, no responsability. Just easy and uncomplicated times with a very interesting person. It really is like having a friend and having sex with said friend.

So! You go at this ffriends birthday party. You hang around, get to know a bunch of strangers. And then you see someone. A very beautiful person who makes your heart beat just a little bit faster. You want this person. You want to do anything with this person.
You talk with this person most of your time at the party. In the end, when you decide to go home, the heart-beat person leaves with you. The person asks you if you'd like to go to its home and watch a movie (we all know what this means). You say that you already have plans with your friends, that you'll give the person your number and that you can hang out together another time.

As long as you're honest about your intentions, it should be fine. The Friends With Benefits situation is so that you can sleep with many people without the restraints of a relationship.

I used to sleep around when i was younger at university. But i kinda realised the thing i was looking for couldn't be found in the beds of all those girls, so i made my apologies for treating the girls the way i had (not particularly badly, but like sex objects, as FWB's implies) and continued as just friends where possible.

So me now would advise you not to bother at all OR decide which one it is you wish to be with, and make that clear to them both; me back then would probably say 'yeah go for it, whats the worst that could happen?'

I wouldn't get hurt. I feel absolutely nothing for my friend, other than that it's an awesome person whom I would want to keep in touch with. The sex is just a huge bonus, but it is definitely not the basis for our friendship.

I just hope no one falls in love with me. I'm not capable of loving at the moment.

Hate the term fuckbuddy. So vulgar. But yeah, this stuff happens. And it really depends on your specific and particular situation. I don't know these girls, so I wouldn't be able to say exactly what the correct option is.

I will say to all those folks who say that it's impossible to not actually have strings attached...sure it is (as long as everyone's being honest with each other as to their intentions). Not everyone is all about monogamy. I live in what might be considered a weird world, but me and my rather large circle of friends are all pretty open about this stuff. Some choose pretty traditional relationships, a lot choose against that (but do so safely and responsibly). Rarely if ever have I ran into any real drama because of this (obviously when a monogamous relationship falls apart due to cheating, it's a different matter entirely). We're a bunch of crazy bohemian musicians artists and poets though, so take all this with a grain of salt.

EDIT: Sidenote, on the whole drama thing. I said rare, cuz it does happen from time to time. One time, girl A had her special friend come up from I think it was Georgia, really nice guy. But the guy proceeded to hang out with girl B who he had met whilst up here. The night ended with girl A drunkenly trying to kick down one of the bathroom doors in our house on girl B and the guy. I think she broke our door. In a way I do sympathize with girl A, her friend did come up here to see her and although it was a no-strings type deal, he ended up becoming interested in someone else which has to feel kinda shitty.

Girl A has all sorts of issues though (passive aggressive, textbook narcissist, snob, generally extremely negative individual) and we rarely associate with her any longer.

It might not be as bad as I put it. I mean, after that night the dude went right back to Girl A's house. They enjoyed each other's company for a time I'm sure. The thing was he was fairly forthright in where he was coming from (had no intention of being "faithful") and she was fairly dishonest in pretending to be okay with that.

He ended up staying in NY for like a few weeks though, til she got sick of him and kicked him out.

Sorry dude, my english vocabulary was lacking when I was creating this thread. The vulgar term was the only one I could think of that would make me understood.

Believe me friend, my hormones are also raging and demanding action.

The reason why I don't want to talk to my friend about this is because it could initiate the talk. I like it how it is now, and I trust my feelings when it comes to the situation. That does not mean however that I willingly will push us into a fork where we are forced to talk about things. I don't want to lose the friendship, and I definitely don't want to have a relationship.
