The title is the question, can you draw? how good are you. if you would like, post a pic of one of your drawings.

I'm terrible at drawing, but, I'm learning to get better from the internet and my girlfriend, my drawings are getting better, but they are still kinda lame.

I'm ok, I suppose.
It would seem that my drawings never quite come out as what I want them to, though.
I wish I was better at it, because I really like drawing.

I think I'm okay at drawing But according to my art teacher I'm good because I'm 2 levels higher than the national expectation. (I'm in year 9, my levels are what a year 10 should get).

I'd say I'm okay at drawing. I have a hard time deciding what to draw though.

Reminds me of a colleague of mine who drew something, wasn't that good and she said so. I told her that that doesn't matter as long as you like doing it. I can draw a bit, but I'm not that good. If you have the raw basics, all you need to do is practice.

I can draw anime faces quite well.

And it took me three drawings to find out. So you could say I'm a very lazy yet talented person.

Not that I know how to post my pictures on here as they're drawn by hand...

i draw comics and manga-esque art and it looks alright, sometimes seems a bit lifeless but meh. I could be a lot better with practise, but practise is time spent not gaming!

I'm really bad at drawing.
I can draw stick figures, but If I try and draw anything else, it...doesn't look good.

Sometimes when I'm not trying I can come up with masterpieces, but my main weakness is biological forms and proportions (people, animals).

I wish I could. But my hand won't do what my brain shows me.

We had a house guess at home once and she sat down with a brush, some paper, some black ink and some water and just like that painted a beautiful picture of a woman, all light and shade and stuff. Without even really stopping to mark out proportions or anything. I was so envious. I told her that if I could do that I would never ever stop. She seemed to shrug it off, it was second nature to her and no big deal at all.

Honestly, I think that most artistic/musician sorts have a gift.

Lucky bastards :(

I'm good enough to be a professional Comic Strip artist for newspapers. But I'm a student of Animation and when I finish my college I will try for Concept Artist.

www.pencilcrap.nl is my website and you could visit the strips I have, but you might not understand Dutch.

Where do I begin? Look for books on the drawing style you want. Also: Print, don't just take a picture. Printers have a hard time seeing HB pencils (or number 2 if that's an American standart) So take a B pencil or higher or a pen and put the printer setting on a high contrast like 800.

Maybe this would be a bit more usefull. I hope you can do anything with it.

Does 'going to art school' equal 'I'm an artist'?

Obligatory "ONE IS BORN AN ARTIST" here.
