Like a teacher once said, "I can only draw anorexic nudes" (a.k.a stick figures).

I really suck at drawing. Even basic stuff looks weird and contorted when I'm the one holding the pencil.

In fact I can't even colour in-between the lines.

I love drawing, it's my passion. I draw all the time. As a matter of fact I'm drawing right now. My dream job would to be a concept artist for a fantasy game, I love designing characters and monsters.

I would post some of my stuff, but it's all in my sketchbook
I'm also a digital painter, but I'm still a bit of a noob at that. Trying to figure out what works and what doesn't.

Honestly, not sure if you are just being a wise ass or not.

I'm not sure where exactly the artistic process begins. Let me ..say...picture an image of a gorgeous woman with an evil look in her eyes and a let's say she has a gun in each hand and is dressed in...red. OK. Got it in my mind's eye. I can see her, she is right there.

Now I can no more put that image on paper than I could jump out my living room window and fly. The visitor I described in my post could do that without breaking a sweat. Why is that? Why don't I have the dexterity or motor control or sheer ability to do what she can?

If you gave me an object and said 'Draw That' I would do a pretty good job, all I'd have to do is look at it and shizam.

Drawing freehand.... I'm pretty meh. I try to draw what I've pictured in my head but it just never turns out the way I wanted it to. I lose interest and find something else to fill my time. It's frustrating because I know I can draw the things I see pretty well, but I can't draw the things I imagine.

I have enough confidence to say I'm fairly okay. Though I've been drawing exclusively with a graphics tablet lately, which does grant you greater control over the medium. So I won't go farther than fairly.
