In games: Lawful Good (since that almost always gives me a good ending, except in Bible Black).

In real life: True Neutral (or, why should I give a toss).

And when I say "Lawful", it tends to be after the law I think is best. Saving the universe? Of course. Letting the villian live? Sure, why not. Helping a thug beat some not-so-innocent hag? Nope.

I'm pretty heavily chaotic good. Freedom is my thing, for everyone. and I'm def out of sync with the rest of civilization and I REALLY, REALLY fucking hate bureaucracy, though I hate it less because it gets in the way of social change, and more because it gets in the way of everything and has no benefit. I view extensive organization as pointless, but a little is useful. Honestly, my video games have to on a certain part of the floor(I'm just barely joking with that one).

But I do have a bit of a lawful nue streak in me. I know that's retarded, but I very much do like planning, although not super extensive. And I also believe strongly in honor, and I follow a personal code. I always keep my word, for example, and I have no problem bending the rules in my favor. However, I don't give a crap about historical precedents or tradition, and I don't support strict laws.

Yeah, my alignment is weird. It doesn't really fit into the dnd spectrum that well. Depending on the circumstances, I will usually act in a way that is chaotic neutral, but some of my beliefs fall in every category, from lawful to evil, to true neutral.

In practice im Lawful Good- Im as meek and law abiding as they come, in philosophy Id say Neutral Good.
In games Im most often Chaotic Neutral.

I always thought that I was Chaotic/Neutral Good, but I recently took some online Alignment tests, and it turn out I'm actually very strongly Lawful Neutral (With Good Tendencies).

Lawful Neutral character don't actually follow the law, but their own personal moral compass unflinchingly (Which might possibly coincide with the law), without any regard for what is traditionally considered "Good" or "Evil" (I Personally don't believe in "Good" or "Evil", and I have created my own moral code which I refer to whenever needed).

Lawful Neutral is almost the opposite of Chaotic Neutral, which makes me a bit annoyed that they're lumped together in the Poll. (But I do realize that there is an 8 Poll limit, so no worries)

This is the best Alignment Test I've found (It has a lot of questions, so it should be fairly accurate, as long as you're honest with yourself): http://easydamus.com/alignmenttest.html

EDIT: Since others are doing this (And I'm a big fan of demotivational posters, :p), this is my new understanding of Lawful Neutral:

I thought this was about ethical theories, in which case I'm a consequentialist.
As for the D&D template, I'm chaotic good. It's what consequentialism equates to in that system.

Neutral Good, which is boring, but accurate. I believe in law and order, but i'm far too pragmatic to be truly lawful. I believe very strongly in charity and selflessness, so i definitely tend toward the good end of the morality axis.

Hooray for the DnD!
OT: Chaotic Neutral. I don't like being told what to do and while I am generally nice I can just as easily be the opposite, usually in a bitterly sarcastic way. I value my own free thinking and independence, and also those of others but a little twisting is permissible if it needs to be done.

EDIT:
According to this test: http://easydamus.com/alignmenttest.html
I am Chaotic Good, which also seems a good description

I'll have to go with Lawful Evil.

Follow the rules but I have no problem exploiting those rules and often do for my own gain.
I only respect my closest friend and family. I have absolutely no problem betraying everyone else.
I am aware I am selfish, I am a hypocrite and a jerk... and I hide it, very very well.

Lawful Good.

I will obey rules, even if they go against my self interest, provided they are made by a legitimate authority. That, and I despise the forces of evil. I will always try to tell the truth, even when it hurts me, and stand up to those who harm others, even if that as well will hurt me.

EDIT: It's rather funny, because I have some Libertarian leanings in my viewpoints. Lawful Good and Libertarianism don't often go together.

I disagree with you lumping all neutrality under one category. It's too limiting and one of the things that d20 4ed got wrong.

Anyways, I'm True Neutral. I don't really care about helping others or stepping on them. I'm lawful in some ways and chaotic in others, so they balance each other out.

On the subject of Batman:
Batman follows his own rigidly-defined code of ethics. That's what makes him lawful good, not his adherence to the letter of the written law.

Neutral Good, with a slight leaning toward Lawful.

I can't really add much.

I don't play Neutral or Lawful characters in D&D much.

LG, where G overrides. I suppose I'm leaning towards NG the more I see laws in place that benefit only a select few.

I'm... AWESOME!!!

Oh wait, that wasn't an option?

Than prolly chaotic neutral. In other words, I don't give a shit. Too lazy to be chaotic evil or lawful (good or evil).

Either Lawful Neutral as that is generally the "Judge" Alignment which suits me, but more likely Neutral Good, since most of the time that is what I strive for. I often fit with chaotic good but that is merely since what is law and what is right is not always the same, but I -want- to be lawful good, which means my big focus is on good, despite the legal issues.
