I was just browsing through some of my older posts when this thought hit me in the face like the football that hit me in the face when I was 7.

Can you remember your very first post?

Mine was this, in a "what game first" thread.

for the fallout order, try the game of the year edition. takes longer to get, but has all add-ons. also if you like football, try and get football manager 2010 when its released (don't know when)
And to add discussion to this thread as posting your first post wouldn't have any, tell us how you have changed from your first post to the person you are now, and how being here has changed you and your mannerisms, if it has. I probably have become slightly insane and have picked up better grammar and manners.

So, have fun reminiscing.
[sup]Or not...[/sup]

Included a poll just for fun.

Mine was "I hope he reviews Persona 4 soon" in a Yahtzee video. I didn't realize he hated JRPG's back then.

My first post was a topic I made myself. Can't be bothered posting it, but if you're that desperate, rifle through my posts.

After a little searching, apparently it's this:

Yeah, 'Le Sacre de Printemps' (The Rite of Spring) is a great 'classical' piece (listen to the 'Augurs of Spring'... it's as heavy as some rock music!). But with regard to music that is emotionally moving (like Holst's 'Jupiter') I would have to recommend Mendelsohn's Violin Concerto in E minor... or Bach's double violin concerto in d minor... or Glass's violin concerto (all right... so I like violin concerti...)
...from this [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.54070?page=1] thread. Man I can sound pretentious.

i usually prefer WRPGs, but i've got a couple of JRPGs. i'd probably get sick of them if i had more
This was on a thread about our stance on JRPG's. Wow, it seems like it was such a long time ago...

Well, nowadays I usually elaborate a little more on my posts, and I also capitalize the "I's". No idea why I didn't do it back then.

Also, after becoming a regular contributer in the forum games board, I seems to have sudden bursts of randomness.

Well, it seems to be this:

"The power to spawn monkey henchmen from your palms."
That is a truly wonderful gift. Especially if some of them were shocky monkeys.
Huh. Even back then we had plenty of hero power threads.

I remember that I considered joining in order to comment on many interesting topics, then when I joined all the interesting ones had ended, and it was really inane.

But I can't remember exactly.

EDIT: Apparently it was in a thread about the best video game heroine, and I supported Lara Croft. Go figure.

I didn't remember, but I did find it. Regarding the most beautiful sights in gaming.

All of Shadow of the Colossus, leaving the vault in Fallout 3, and making little clouds of red in FEAR 2.

Well. Maybe not the last one. But.. you know what I mean.

I didn't remember this post at all. I disagree with myself about what I said regarding PvP.

"I play GW. PvE has been completely abandoned, and unless you have a good guild, you'll have to use heroes (NPC's for whom you set skill bars, attributes and gear, and have the intelligence of a dog with an aneurysm) and henchmen (NPC whose skills, attributes and gear have been set by a dog with an aneurysm, and who have the intelligence of an amoeba) all the time. Happily, I have one such guild, so I'm thrilled.
PvP in Guild Wars, as has been said, relies on gimmicks, overpowered combinations and insane ganking."
