Every tv show has to end at some point and that obviously includes South Park. So i'm not gonna be to upset when it ends (whenever that may be)

Lets be frank here.
I LOVED the first 4 series', they were an absolute masterpiece because the episode topics were so surreal, yet slightly beliveable, and the animation was crappy enough to give it major appeal...

As soon as Trey and Matt started properly animating the show, it started to go downhill in my opinion, and the latest series' are too f*cking random, they aren't funny. Its been going on for too long.

or B. watched the episode, but the overall point just went over your head
Of course. Because obviously if someone has a different opinion than you, they don't understand.

Personally, I've seen the six earliest seasons. They were stupid. I saw the point to the ones that had a point, and it was still stupid. Some people don't enjoy crude humor because it's immature. No matter how well-written it is or what message it's a front for, it's still immature.
*stereotypical joke about wearing your finest coattails as you ride your high horse to the local opera/gala/high-brow comedy festival for the local nobility*
yes, it's immature. but since when did "immature" translate into "stupid". it's okay to laugh at jokes about fecal matter and fish sticks, we won't think any less of you.
if you don't think it's funny, fine, but not being considered funn and being stupid are two very different things. as a matter of fact, using immature humor to get across an intelligent point is the exact OPPOSITE of stupid. Two and a Half Men isn't funny. Family Guy (post-revival) is stupid. Carlos Mencia is both of these things. South Park, whether you think it's funny or not (honestly, it's cool if you don't, I don't really care), the episode-long punchlines and hidden meanings are undoubtedly clever.
Not gonna lie you kinda sound like you took offense to the fact, and he has a point it doesn't matter if you like it not everyone cares for that kind of humor. And if you ask me I kinda hated South Park, I think it's really stupid and what little I did watch I did get the jokes and ideals they were pushing across. All in all I think they use current events as a framing device for a overall story and use it to cram in so many stupid jokes, and I could care less what you think of my thoughts on South Park because I'm pretty sure your going to go all "white knight" and try to defend it's honor by telling my episodes you like thinking I will like them too.

Said like 'Trolling' has any meaning left.

It should die for those stupid episodes full of fart noises and random shit coming out of every where. Go see what Futurama did if you want to learn how to do commentary on current affairs.
That's all Family Guy do, but people seem to like that. How anyone can like it after that pile of sh*t 'bird is the word' episode I don't know, but it seems the gene pool is in need of chlorination.

I haven't seen series 15 of South Park yet, so I don't know whether or not it still deserves to be on the air.

South Park is now no more than an overly drunk comedian; It either needs to go into rehab or drive off a cliff and put an end to it all.

I've been a fan of South Park for a long time, and while I felt it peaked around seasons 6-8 (with a good amount of great moments in seasons 11 and 13), I still enjoy watching new episodes. But if Matt and Trey's hearts aren't in it anymore, maybe it's time to let it move on. I do know that they are obligated to finish season 15, and I'm not certain because I can't find a definitive source, but I heard they had signed on for 2 more seasons. If this is the case, I also don't know then if they can back out of it between seasons, so I really am not sure if this will be the last season, but I know they have to finish this one.

Theyve gone from seasons full of hilarious episodes to seasons with sparse lines of genius here and there.
I think its time they start a new project personally.

I own season 2 up through 10 on dvd, so no one could accuse me of that. And it was only after the 10th season that the quality of the show took a severe hit for some reason.

I've listened to a good deal of mini commentaries on each episode, and a recurring topic that seem to crop up is that Matt and Trey need to be reigned in by the other writters in regards to not overdoing it. Like how sometimes they want to play out a joke for to long. Just take a look at the Tiger Woods episode; The main point and joke of that episode is made very clear in the first five minutes, but the rest of the running time is used to keep hammering on it like a 2-year old on a frying pan.
We get it; Rich, famous men wanting to have sex with lots of women is not a disease. It's a good joke, but stretching it out over twenty minutes just smacks of laziness. Don't even get me started on that KFC episode.

The feeling I got as soon as I finished the episode was that this was the end.

Honestly, I was waiting for an announcement that South Park would not be returning and the midseason finale had instead become a series finale.

But I think the creators will honour their contract and finish the season, just don't expect it to be anything like the South Park of old. I think they really want to change things up and go out with a bang, I think the next 7 episodes will be the last.

The conversation between Stan's parents felt like a conversation between Trey and Mat directed at the audience. They had been unhappy for a while now and it is just the 'same old shit' every week but getting more and more outlandish. I think after 15 years they are ready to move on.

Personally this was one of my favourite episodes ever and I think they will go out with a bang later this year.

All good shows have to end sometime, but I still think South Park has enough life left to last for another season or two. Ending the series now just seems a little abrupt.

Of course if they did end it this season, it could mean Matt and Trey are setting the series up for another movie. I really hope that isn't the case since Bigger, Longer, and Uncut wasn't that great in my opinion. Still, it's up to the development team to figure out how they want to end it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they just gave a middle-finger to the fans and ended it mid-sentence like the Sopranos.

What makes it so funny is that it does this while being set in the future.

They were just on the Daily Show tonight saying that they were going to keep going. I'll look for a video.

Meh, I honestly don't care. South Park got really crappy quite some time ago as far as I'm concerned.
The last classic episode was Make Love, Not Warcraft. Even their recent Cthulhu inspired episode complete fell apart in the end.
