So, i'm assuming you've all seen the latest showings from E3. I know that i'm still enjoying the new flowing out of LA, but one thing that i chose to take issue with is the Splinter Cell series. Now don't get me wrong, i'm a massive fan of all Sam Fishers endeavors, yes including Pandora Tomorrow. But when i saw the new trailer and game play a number of things struck me as odd.
1. Sam appears to be considerably taller.
2. Sam has clearly been given a new voice, which just doesn't seem to fit.
3. Sam looks younger than he does in conviction. (time magic obviously)
4. With the liquidation of 3rd echelon, and Sam running 4th he has the ability to grant 5th freedom at any given moment. Goodbye stealth.
So what are your opinions on the subject? I'm not particularly offended by the changes, nor am i going to complain. It's not my place to moan to someone who's going to gift me with another Splinter cell game. But this is certainly an interesting subject of debate.
