My very first SC experience was at a computer store, it was on a demo PC and I thought it looked pretty cool. First level where you start with some SCVs and a few marines, and first meet Jim Raynor. I thought SCVs were ultimate weapons lol. Anyway, later on a friend was talking about this awesome game so finally I bought it, and realised it was the one I had played in the store.
I spent a loooot of time playing SC. It was my favorite game for a while. The manual of this game is perhaps one of the best I've ever read (repeatedly). The campaign was great, and online play was pretty fun. I spent a lot of time playing the Use Map Setting games for fun like the madness games and Smash TV. I also spent quite a bit of time in the map editor. I made my own "paintball" levels and even tried my hand at one of the "smash tv" game types which took a looong time and probably a couple hundred trigger events. Never did finish it tho.

I have been loving it since 1998 and still play it to to this day...well like two weeks ago. I am a MASSIVE blizzard fanboy (as evidenced by my Avatar) So you may need to take my word with a grain of salt :)

I love Starcraft 1. I still have lan parties with my friends where we have 200 multiplayer games. It's such a fun game.

Anyone looking forward to number 2? I was until I heard that blizzard was being stingy and only releasing one of the campaigns with the $60 PC version but that you could buy the other campaigns if you wanted. Talk about stingy. I'm torn between really really really wanting to play it and boycotting the whole game.
