Nope. Even if I'm not really going anywhere, I like to keep my personal hygiene up to snuff. It's a good habit to have.

I shower every day no matter what.
Hygiene I disregard when alone is cutting fingernails and shaving. Also I wash my hands less often when I am at home.

Hygiene is important.

Even if you're not going out, do at least a bit of personal maintenance. Have a little self respect, yo.

I shower ever single day at least once, I don't know if it's just my matabolisim or what but if for whatever reason I go more then a day or two without bathing I smell like a fucking corpse.

My day cannot begin until I am showered at the very least, even if I know full well I won't be going anywhere.

I have no sense of smell so it's difficult to judge whether or not i'm currently smelling bad so I shower atleast once a day and then before any social outtings.

I need a shower at least once (and usually 2+ times) a day, but that's because I enjoy showers and the feeling of being clean... not for the sake of other people!

Heh, I do this all the time... Not as much as I used to of course, but I go out more now =P In fact, I'm currently in an unwashed, stinky state. Will be taking a shower later today. OR NOT! Mwahahahahahaha! *slightly crazed*

I need to shower every day or else I feel really uncomfortable and greasy, and when I feel that way I don't want to do anything but sleep.

I always brush my teeth but I have no problem skipping a shower if I'm just going to couch flop and play games all day.

Not brushing my teeth makes me feel really disgusting for some reason.

I do this all the time, doesn't help that my sense of smell is almost nonexistent. Longest I've gone without a shower would be about 10 days, give or take.

Ever tried deodorant? I hear there is some clinical strength stuff available at most drugstores that can do wonders.

As a female, in the winter time I tend to take advantage of wearing pants all the time by shaving my legs less often. I do shave them every now and then...just not as often. I can let them be a little less than presentable for a while without worrying about repercussions :3

But as for skipping showers? I may skip at night just to do it in the morning, if only out of my own personal laziness.

The only time I don't shower or get dressed is when I'm sick enough to not even feel like getting out of bed. That happens maybe twice a year, mainly during allergy season.

I always brush my teeth and i'll make sure I don't look and feel like crap.

Aside from that, I don't shower every day. Hell, i'm wearing the same clothes I wore yesterday.

Hiya escapists.

At the time of writing, my armpits are at a point where I'd never want to interact with another person (Except for my parents, I guess) without taking a shower first. I am almost considering taking a shower for the sake of my own comfort.
I am in my current state because I knew from the morning that I would be staying inside, not meeting any friends or acquaintances all day today.
That's why I figured I'd ask: How many of you people do this; skipping the whole personal hygiene part of your life (except for brushing teeth) when you know you won't be hanging around anyone but yourself for a while?

Yeah yeah, I know I'm sort of gross. Feel free to point it out, just don't think I always go around smelling bad like this.

I do that too when I know I'm going to be alone all day. Thus, my room is now labeled a "man cave". I'm lazy whenever the opportunity presents itself. I should fix that...eventually.

I hope to god you're joking.

OT: I hate the feeling of not being clean. I shower every day without fail usually twice, sometimes more.

When I lived up north I use to shower probably 5 - 7 times on some days due to the heat (southern hemisphere), once in the morning, once before heading into town an hour or two later, once after riding my bike home from town, have a swim so have to wash hair, shower before hitting the bar with mates, shower when come home from bar, shower because vomited on self while laughing, shower before bed just because it's nice to be clean when getting in bed.

Admittedly I didn't always have a swim or vomit on myself, but I always shower as soon as I wake up and usually again if I'm going out any time other that as soon as I get dressed after my first shower. And anyone who doesn't shower either right before or right after bed is dirty because bed's are gross.

EDIT: Fun fact, I brush my teeth once a day most days. I usually brush them again if going out or if there's food stuck in teeth after eating, but if I'm home alone, that's what get's disregarded.

I try not to do this because I feel disgusting after even after one day of no showering. So I do it sometimes if I get lazy enough, but I usually try to shower even if I stay inside the whole day.
