Those frogs are AWESOME!

And yeah that basically sounds like summer to me.
My mom doesn't let me out of the neighborhood often, and only a couple friends live near by. Also, I'm not let of the house often either.

This is my 2nd week of it in fact.
I have begun to form a hard crust on the surface of my skin, with a strange growth on my nether regions.
:D
I hope to god you're joking.

OT: I hate the feeling of not being clean. I shower every day without fail usually twice, sometimes more.

When I lived up north I use to shower probably 5 - 7 times on some days due to the heat (southern hemisphere), once in the morning, once before heading into town an hour or two later, once after riding my bike home from town, have a swim so have to wash hair, shower before hitting the bar with mates, shower when come home from bar, shower because vomited on self while laughing, shower before bed just because it's nice to be clean when getting in bed.

Admittedly I didn't always have a swim or vomit on myself, but I always shower as soon as I wake up and usually again if I'm going out any time other that as soon as I get dressed after my first shower. And anyone who doesn't shower either right before or right after bed is dirty because bed's are gross.

EDIT: Fun fact, I brush my teeth once a day most days. I usually brush them again if going out or if there's food stuck in teeth after eating, but if I'm home alone, that's what get's disregarded.

Ooh, that one's new...

Of course i'm joking, but my personal hygeine is FAR from perfect.

Wait, this isn't regular behavior? Now that I'm out of school for the summer and looking for a job, my personal hygiene ain't doing so well for the most part.

Right now personal hygiene isn't all that important to me, as I'm usually in the house, mainly just my room except for meals and toilet.

So I'll shower whenever I know I'm going to be going out, so basically every Thursday and usually a couple of other points during the week...And I only shave watch the beard starts being itchy

Sometimes I do this, but sometimes I get bored during the day and have a shower just to waste some time.

If i know I'm not going out, I won't have a shower at all and just clean my teeth before I go to bed again.

Ever tried deodorant? I hear there is some clinical strength stuff available at most drugstores that can do wonders.
I can't tell if you're joking or not...

Don't think I don't shower and wear deodorant (Although I assume what you're talking about is antiperspirant) on a daily basis.

Wow. So many people that think that if you don't shower at least once a day you'll end up being really stinky and disgusting.

A weird thought which suggests to me either incredibly bad luck genetically, doing a lot of really sweat-inducing activities, or having damaged your body's natural processes due to excessive 'hygiene'.

Cleaning yourself too much can end up causing just as much trouble as not cleaning yourself enough...

The oils on your skin and hair exist for a reason. While they can and do start to stink eventually, they protect your skin and hair from the environment, and without them you will suffer a lot more damage from things such as UV light, dry air, and so on.

Not to mention that while this oil is a major contributor to why a person starts to stink, it isn't the oil that stinks, but bacteria that consume the oil.
What you end up smelling like depends to a large extent on what kind of bacteria are present on your body.
(particularly armpit odour).
And... What happens when you clean things over-zealously?
You kill off a lot of these bacteria. (anti-bacterial products are good if you're worried about cross-contamination, but in general, killing everything off on a regular basis isn't an amazing idea for your long-term health)

That could be a good thing, but it could also be really bad. Because it doesn't take long for all that space to be covered in bacteria all over again.
And there's no guarantee it'll be the same bacteria.
Which, of course, can radically alter what you smell like.

OK, with armpit hair, removing it altogether cuts down on the potential for it to smell...

But whatever. All I'm really saying is that I highly doubt most people really need to wash themselves every day.
There might be a few where you'd notice it for one reason or another...
And if you do a lot of heavy physical exertion (or, you know, clean sewers for a living), you may just have cause to wash that often.

But otherwise... Wow. It mostly just seems obsessive.

At best I can do with showering every other day, anymore than that and my scalp starts to itch like craaaaazy, and my hands and face start to feel grimy even after washing in the sink. Bleah.

I'm another one who has to shower at least once a day, if for the sake of nothing else but my hair. My hair gets unruly at best, to the point of being effectively un-tamable, if I don't shower every day. And I just feel dirty all day if I don't, and I don't like that. So every morning it's a shower, deodorant, and combing the hair at least. I don't often shave if I'm not going out and I will re-wear clothes. But otherwise I keep myself clean.

Considering your keyboard is dirtier than your toilet, I'd at least wash your hands :p

I shower at least 6 times a week, one day being me just sleeping for the entire day and I only get up for some apple juice and to brush my teeth.

I don't know how it is but I was brought up by my parents saying that sometimes you shouldn't shower/wash too much or you'll damage your skin.

Especially with washing your hair, something about the amount of chemical build up in the skin of your hair when you wash it too often with shampoo (as in more than 2times a day). Can't back it up with facts however but my Mother is a dermatologist.

I do shave my armpits so I don't smell as badly as I use to though.

Edit: If I don't wash my hair for more than 2 days I get a very nasty itch so I don't try to go without washing for two days.

I keep myself clean, but I don't care much about my physical appearance.

EDIT: When at home of course.

Generally I bathe every other day. Since most of my friends are staying wherever they go to uni, I don't have much reason to leave the house other than to look for work. I really don't understand the type of person that insists that if you don't shower at least twice a day you're some sort of smelly ogre. It's a waste of water. And as has been said in earlier posts, washing too much is just as bad as not enough.
