Of course I would. There's nothing 'weird' or 'creepy' about this.

You could meet someone, like them, sex them up, and then their single dad meets your single mum, they get on (and get married), all of a sudden you and the other girl(or boy, whatever) are 'sick' and 'disturbing'? Of course not. Ludicrous. This is the same situation, just reversed.

If you've grown up together it's another issue, but that's not what we're discussing.

(side-note: I wouldn't bother unless the step-sibling was something above 'normal' though, because potential awkwardness later wouldn't be worth it. I cba with that.)

I have a situation like that in my life- at least the part of having two familes.

I have 2 step-sisters, in each family. But they're both younger than me, in their teens. In some way I will always see them like that... so it would be really creepy for me to even think about something like that.

If it happens when both of you are much older I guess I could see it happening and maybe not being as awkward. I think its weird if you meet when young.

Now if it was a cousin or other blood relative, there'd be tons of issues.

This. I have a sister, but it's really complicated, my mum and her dad aren't married, and she was born before me, hence not being of any blood relation. So technically, I'm not bound to anything that prevents me from having a relationship with her. Not that I would, but I'm just stating the situation.

My step sister is attractive, but the minute they become family it's like they are an amorphous grey blob, seriously if someone asks me if my (biological) sister is hot I tell them I honestly don't know, it's the same with my step sister.

Well...logical thinking tells me there's basically nothing wrong with it, but thinking about it still feels really awkward. Like people said, if you grew up together it would probably be even weirder, but other then that, there's no reason why you couldn't/shouldn't do it.

...but seriously, is it that hard to go outside and find girls who aren't legally related to you?

Probably yes but it would still be akward even if they weren't blood related. I'd still consider them a sister so I'd be uncomfortable atleast until things got "Hot" then I most likely would stop caring.

Only if I was desperate though. She's not related technically so MAYBE I'd think about it. But it would only be a last resort. Desperate times, desperate measures... Crazy outcomes.
