Yes. I've seen very little of either Colbert or Stewart, and Stewart seems to always be taking himself very seriously. Colbert seems the opposite, though; he doesn't take himself seriously at all, although his character takes himself more seriously than anyone.....The Iron Ninja said:I haven't seen Colbert Report, it's possible my country doesn't air it.
I'll agree with anyone that says Jon Stewart doesn't know how to deliver jokes properly.
Some of the material is good in theory, but he always butchers it.

wow...1 year and two months later, a couple of crazy kids tried to resurrect a dead thread.TraumaHound said:While I watch both shows nightly (well, 4 nights a week) I prefer The Daily Show over The Colbert Report simply because I feel I learn more about current political/world issues through TDS' delivery than I do from TCR. I agree with the thoughts on team vs solo in that when shown back-to-back they do have a sort of balance of topics and delivery between them. I did love A Colbert Christmas for the wink it gave to so many of the Christmas variety shows I watched growing up.
Heh heh, you know, I was searching for something on the Forum (can't remember what now) and this came up and since TDS was coming on I thought I'd chime in. Totally didn't notice the thread's initial date. *shrug*Scikosomatic said:wow...1 year and two months later, a couple of crazy kids tried to resurrect a dead thread.
