Due to the excessive means needed to kill a berserker(Hammer of Dawn!), I'm gonna have to pick the big *****. Tanks are tough, but that lady is a whole level above it.

Might I add that it takes more than one shot with the orbital laser known as the "Hammer of Dawn" (at least on the higher difficulties) to bring down a berserker.

So yeah - Imma go with the berserker on this one. =]

Beserker wins. As has been said already, the only way to kill her is with a goddamn space death lazer! Also, unlike the tank, she knocks down walls to get to her prey. She wins hands down.

Even though it takes an orbital laser to kill a berserker, the tank wins. When you are the only survivor left and the tank is coming at u there is nothing scarier.

Besides, Berserkers have no problem smashing through concrete walls, so I doubt throwing the stuff at them is gonna do much good, if any.

The berserker charges in a straight line that slightly curves. The Tank can dodge that.

You know a Tank would probably be harder to kill with a Hammer of Dawn because they move faster.

B's have 2 speeds, running AT you or looking FOR you, most of the time its RUNNING AT YOU, and considering the tank comes with his own symphony of crescendo music...

But A berserker runs throw walls unhindered and can charge at the tank, so the concrete being thrown at it wouldn't do much, in my opinion.
I definitely think Berserker.

Having played both Left 4 Dead and Gears of War 1, I don't see a tank as being faster than a berserker.

Besides, Berserkers have armoured skin. Tanks, on the other hand, just have really thick regular skin.

While neglecting to listen to my french teacher today I thoght, if A tank (L4D) foght A beserker (GOW) who would win? tank big and stong but so is the beserker but tank can throw crap but..... I Dont know Ill let the Nice people of the escapist think about it.

I've played both of them as well. Tanks appear to be faster than Berserkers because once Berserkers start moving they can only curve ever so slightly.

I doesn't matter though. Both of them lose to Chicago Ted.
