I see no point to it... none what so ever. Not like the person you're doing it to notices and if anyone else sees you doing it they will think 'free kill' and put a bullet in your arse. Only other people who might see, and not kill you, are in team based games. Most of them will think your a moron for doing it.

Myself... I will think your a idiot for wasting time that could better be used hunting enemies down or completing objectives.
