I just went to make a sandwich. As I reached into the bag, I passed six perfectly good slices of bread and tugged the two out of the middle. Without even thinking I just did that. Now thinking about it, I wonder why I do that.

So... when there's a loaf of bread... which part do you take?

And if you know, why do you take that part of the loaf?

EDIT

Also just for the hell of it, why not share your favourite Sandwich with us!

As long as I'm not getting an end piece, I'm fine.

But I don't eat regular bread. I eat Ezekiel bread, which is what regular bread would be if it wasn't 98% sugar and fat.

I just work my way from one end to the other. I don't know why. There isn't a lot to put in bread threads. Although now you mention it my brothers take slices only from the middle.

I refuse to eat the end pieces, but only because they don't toast well, and I only eat toasted sandwiches.
Seriously, you have not lived until you eat a really good toasted sandwich, fresh out of the toaster oven.

Not fussed.

Though the crusts are the best for a quick fold-in-half sandwich. Mmm, midnight munchies.

I eat the corner pieces. They are the best parts. Everyone who disagrees is a heretic.

A bread thread. About what slices you choose. The beginning and and pieces are the same, everything in between is the same, how much discussion can you possibly pull out of that?

What are you talking about!? Bread has endless possibilities in conversation!

Middle. Always. I want the big slices for ME! The end pieces are... Too much bread, too little room for yummy stuff =P (I'm not a fan of bread in the first place!)

Hm, your right, it does. I mean, imagine all the things you can do with bread! You can... You know what, why don't you tell him? =)

Well that is just it! They aren't the same to me =P For some reason I simply won't eat the end pieces unless there's nothing left, even then I'm hesitant.

Well you can toast it, butter it, put jam on it, toast it then build houses out of it, make toasties, melt cheese on it, shape it into shurikens and throw it... the possibilities are - as I said - endless

I'll always take them from the middle, then shake them to get rid of crumbs before I spread anything on it. I never even realised I was doing it until someone pointed it out, but I don't remember ever doing it differently.

The best bread is an uncut loaf, just freshly removed from the oven at 5am or so as you are walking to/from work. The best breakfast you can have.
