I have just purchased Star Wars Best of PC pack and realised just how many Star Wars games there were, as I only had eight slots i couldn't fit them all in but i guessed that those seven were the most popular, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Personally though I have high hopes for The Force Unleashed, I'm going to get it for my Wii so the little white wonder can have more attention than just my early morning pissing about on Zelda.

Well the Star Wars game I've spent the most time on over the years is simply Star Wars - on the original Gameboy. But greatest? My favourite 90's one would be X-wing vs TIE Fighter, but greatest on that list would be Lego Star Wars.

I went for Kotor2 but i like both of them.

Battlefront was good but the first was better.

I loved Shadows of the Empire for the N64, and I personally think that was the best.

I've never been blessed with the opportunity to play Tie fighter, and I got about 50 minutes into KotOR before saying "Fuck this battle system".

Or! That RtS, Battlegrounds or something. I even have the "Clone campaigns" for that.

Too bad my disc isn't around right now. ;/

KoTOR 2 is and always will be the greatest Star Wars game ever. It sucks ass though because my disc is scratched and I'm so close to being finished.

Your better off not finishing it.

Anyway, I voted KOTOR 1, although it lacks some of the overt action of Starwars, it was the only Starwars game I played that really FELT like Starwars, ensemble cast: Check, Interesting Characters: Check, Menacing Villain: Check.

though i voted for kotor, you didnt have any of the flight sim games on the list (which were awesome) or any of the dark forces/jedi knight games (which i feel were the best star wars games)

I went for Battlefront, though i was sad to see 'Shadows of the empire' wasn't on the list. It might've had some frustrating FPS levels but the dogfights were incredible for the good old 64 days =]

Battlefront has the most replay value though, FTW!

Has to b, the NGE ruined that game. Not to mention that the whole Jedi incorporation was handled terribly.

I thought it was a fun game. Crafting was interesting, level progression was done very well, graphics were OK, though the environments were sort of bland.

So, why don't you consolidate? Why have a choice for every single game and not one choice for KoTOR series, and Battlefront series? Because seriously, the Jedi Knight series, (Dark Forces, Dark Forces 2, and Jedi Outcast) were the best.

I agree, especially on Jedi Outcast, but I tend to like Jedi Academy better.
I dislike labelling Dark Forces as a Jedi tie-in game, it's a SW game, but I find it quite unique and a precious gem, whether you like SW or not, while Jedi Knight, Outcast and Academy are closer to products for fans to me...

Quite possibly.

I wanted to like this game, especially for 5 bucks used, but after a moment I got lost in the third level, unable to understand where I was supposed to go, and got so bored after trying 10 times that I traded it for The Mark of Kri, which I enjoyed much more.

Either X-wing or TIE Fighter. I can never decide which.

KOTOR was nifty but I didn't feel like finishing it, renting the BFs didn't get me to buy them, and I haven't played many of the others listed in the thread.
