What really annoys me about the whole thing is that the guy who was supposed to be in charge of the clear up is sunbathing in Spain. So the retard who was in charge decided to close the schools until Thursday, but like every politician has gone back on his word and now I'm too fucking tired from staying up till 5 to do anything in school /rant

Fierce rhetoric there. Gerry Adams would be proud... Or as he pronounces is Gehreh Adhums. I love his voice. He's a terrible politician with no policies, much like all the other main party leaders, but at least he has that voice. Brian Cowan puts people to sleep when he talks and his speeches sound like he's dictating legal documents, Bertie Ahern couldn't string a sentence together if his life depended on it, Enda Kenny's possibly a robot, but Gerry... He has the type of oratory that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, full of passion and anger and purpose, even if it is a load of balls.

And yes, Brian Cowen should be kicked in the balls, not only by a nine year old girl, but every person who's been affected by Fianna Fáil's crappy policies.

He's the only one I can respect out of the lot of them.

Labour aren't too bad at the best of times, the Greens are very smug, Fianna Fail and Fine Gael are interchangeable and corrupt, and Sinn Fein are maniacs.

I'd still prefer Sinn Fein over all of them though.

The Greens only got smug since they got power. And they never will again. Labour I like, cos Michael D. Higgins is a legend and can actually talk. Surprised I left him out of my above rant. And yeah, I'm with you there on the Sinn Féin standpoint. At least we might have a bit of fun with the Shinners before the country goes completely to hell.

Northern Ireland = Part of the U.K

At this stage have almost no faith in the political parties here. Fianna Fail come of to me as a bunch of corrupt slackers who rode the gravy train and landed us in the shit, and now have little or no idea what to do about it. Fine Gael lack any real character and Enda Kenny had all the charisma of a wet paper bag. The Greens are not really a green party at all, and just sold out completely to get a shot of those ministerial salaries, and Gormley is a gormless twat (see what I did there).

To me Labour have no real ideas of what they would do if they took power, while Sinn Fein have been so busy politicing about the situation in Northern Ireland that I doubt they too have any coherent plan as to what they would achieve in power.

But as for Brian Cowen needing a kick in the balls? Definitely, and preferably a stamp with a stiletto afterwards for good measure.
