I really think that there should only be nudity and sex in a game if it actually furthers the plot of the game (that sex-scene in Darkwatch doesn't count)
It does further the plot because there is more plot consisting of sex when sex is added. Common sense.
No, on their own, sex and nudity do not add anything to the plot. In order for them to contribute something to the plot, you first have to put the sex and nudity into the proper context (I can't really give an example of this as it largely depends on the kind of story you want to tell).

They're in love/lust. There, more plot. Now I'm more entertained because there is more of a story as well as more of some bewbs.

Sometimes the nudity in games is just gratuitous and unneeded.

God of war come to mind. The Oracle could have been clothed, but they made her topless.
Alright, i guess i'll have to answer this for you. Ok, back in the old days of the ancient greeks (where god of war is set) a naked body wasn't as blasphemous as it is today. Topless females where featured in sculptures, drawings etc. God of war added the nudity in it to make it seem more like the old greek stories, so technically it works in god of war.

And in every house is a bedroom, so sex in a game featuring atleast one building/cave is a perfectly acceptable and necessary inclusion to any game like that.

There isn't lack of nudity. Its not needed and usually doesn't make sense in a game.

Unless you are playing a rape simulator on the Wii.

OK...

Plot relevant nudity (if there is such a thing) fine, go for it, enjoy yourself.

Nudity for the sake of showing some massive tits to get nerds and prepubecent boys to part with their cash, no thank you.

If you just want to look at tits I heard a rumour that the internet may actually be made of them.

Fine, but let's not forget that in most games, the only reason that the protagonist has love interest in the first place is so that we have something pretty to stare at. Now, if the romance was actually central to the plot, then I could understand, but I haven't really played a game yet that has done something like that.

You really misrepresented yourself with the title. I was expecting you to be a nutjob, but now i see you only as slightly ascewed. I was thinking you were talking of actual human/alien nudity, like breast and genitalia, you are talking of Pacman and sonic, neither of which are in many if any games made today. Pacman isn't really even a man or woman, there is not genitalia that could distinguish between either, the same can almost be said for Sonic, Ms Pacman(even though the Ms part), Kirby, Yoshi or any of the 8-bit heroes.

Pac-MAN
MRS. Pacman

One is male, one is female. Sonic is made in games today and is still nude. You are forgetting that many animals have inward genitalia, good sir. I must state that Sonic, Yoshi, and Pacman may have inward genitalia. The games have yet to provide these characters with arousal so we don't know, but one can only hope that someday we may figure out if my postulate is true.

I couldn't care less. If it really fits the plot well, and it's tastefully done, I'm all for it. But if it's nudity just for the nudity, no thanks. Same with violence.

Seems some people need to grab their copies of Sex Villa 3 (or was it V2 the latest version), oh and, it's homo-friendly, so don't your panties/underwears in a bunch over people voting for only female nudity, it's just preference at the end of the day.

But on a more serious tone, WHY do I need nudity in my video game? It's not like I care about a sex scene between barney and Alyx, barney and gordon, or Barney, Gordon and Alyx, right? We all care about playing FPS to blast off nasty alien invaders or foreigners, we all care about driving games because of the cars and vehicles involved, instead of nudity and sex, right? RIGHT?

Note: the over-use of "i/I" would work as well with "we/you". Nudity in gaming is useless, just like bad romance sub-plots.

WHY the hell do I care whether video games have enough nudity in it? It doesn't give me loot, power-ups, experience points, killing blows, random traps ...

Note:
1. "i/I" can easily be replaced with "you/we" in most of the sentences I wrote above.
2. Nudity, just like bad romance sub-plots in not needed. (I wanted to plow the red-haired sorceress in NW2 but for some reason, they really want me to end with that druidess.)

These days you get accidental porn whenever you mistype common words in google FFS
Or even when you type them correctly. Try searching for "housewives" with SafeSearch off.

there should be more of it, but only for one reason. drugs, violence, gore etc are all acceptable, but a bit of nudity isn't. it's just ridiculous!

So they have the same ability as sharks, to suck in their balls?

Yes, something about love interests being something pretty to stare at, and love interests have bewbs....I love bewbs....thusfore, bewbs are love interests.

Common sense.
