I'll be honest as a 34 year old gamer I think there should be more sex in video games. Call me lowbrow, but like most people I find it entertaining. The thing is though that I think such elements should be part of the game, rather than the subject of the game itself. Right now it seems like you have a choice between some kind of non-stop sex farce game, or a game with few if any adult elements. Games WERE trying for a middle ground, but chickened out en-route. When Rock Star backed down over the "Hot Coffee" thing it was a bad moment for the industry in general, they should have done what it took to fight it.
To my way of thinking if I buy an "M" rated game I expect mature content and the game to be aimed at adults. Not what would pass for a PG-13 splatter movie from the 1980s (ie blood, T&A, and maybe bare breasts).
When free, public access movies on sites like "Fear.net" or television "Free On Demand" services go further than M rated games, and their security is LESS than what you find at a game store where at least you can ask a clerk to be assertive where the other sources I mention trust the honesty system... you know there is a problem.
