i must interject here. if my vote was inspired by my number preference, i would not have voted either, as i prefer 0 over all other numbers, and have no strong opinion of any other number. but as there was no such option, i instead voted based on symmetry, which i believe is another valid option preference not addressed in your argument.
further, there may be as of yet unrevealed alternative avenues of option preference to be disclosed. to so surely insinuate that the votes are absolutely based on number preference is both fallacious and short sighted. and thus concludes my interjection.

Your arguments about your subjective motivations are irrelevant. My argument is that OP has instituted a poll that doesn't allow the voters to represent their opinions in the poll results, rendering the whole voting a charade, not about what their motivations are. The poll doesn't provide options to express your motivations in a quantifiable way, there are only the choices itself that are shown in the poll results. I'll give you that since the option number range is limited, the conclusions will be about your number preference within that range, but that doesn't alleviate the problem at all.
