So I hear Pedo Bear pop up into conversations(don't ask) and in videos on youtube and whatnot. I hear it said with either PEE-do or PED-o.

Which way do you prefer to say it? I tend to say it Ped-o because I've heard people pronounce pedophile like that instead of the alternative way.

I'm no fan of cons myself, but I don't mind what goes on at those events. Cons are made for all kinds of uber-geekery, and I don't consider them part of 'real life' when it comes to stuff like that.

Actually, pedophile is an Americanisation of paedophile, which is pronounced "Pee-dough-file"

You get a paediatrician in a paediatric ward in the hospital, and you protect your children from paedophiles.

All pronounced "pee-" and then the rest of the word.
