Soooo much good metal from Sweden: Opeth,Meshuggah,At The Gates,Entombed,Dissection,Necrophobic,Nasum,Edge of Sanity,Eucharist,Grave,In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, etc etc.
You forgot Sabaton.

Sweden birthed Sabaton and isn't afraid of anything, gets the good mark from me.

Edit: seems like the guy above me also had the same idea.

I know that for eons you had a kickass military with the most powerful army in Europe.

I know you don't get on with the other scandinavian states in a "rivals" kinda way (you all squabble amongst yourself)

Death Metal

Everyone's Blonde (Is there a single ethnic person in Sweden? I've never seen or heard of one)

Attractive women

Uh...apart from that, you have an awesome Sing-Song accent and language. We have a Norwegian girl at our school (I know, completley different) who deliberetly mispronouces her own name to people who ask purely because the correct pronounciation sounds stupid in a monotone English.

It's funny to make fun of the accent, but don't feel bad, I do it to every accent, even my own.

Do you get a lot of moose(s--what's plural for moose?) in Sweden, because a moose once bit my sister. No realli! She was Karving her initials on the moose with the sharpened end
of an interspace toothbrush given her by Svenge - her brother-in-law - an Oslo
dentist and star of many Norwegian movies: "The Hot Hands of an Oslo Dentist",
"Fillings of Passion", "The Huge Molars of Horst Nordfink"...

Well I got inspired by "Thoughts on Britain" and was wondering what people know & think about the country Sweden and it's people.
I have never met every single person from Sweden. It's hard to judge this question. I'd imagine I'd like a good amount of them, but some I would not. Others I would feel indifferent to. This question on the other hand, I do not like for it is stupid and holds no discussion or true opinions.

Well apparently you're so smart that you missed the part when I asked if you like sweden (The country aswell aka the nature, landscape, weather and more) and also asked what they know about the country. Or maybe Im just so dumb that Im the only one that sees that?

Hammerfall and Sonata Artica came from there, seems like an awesome place with awesome music.
Don't forget Dream Evil.

Sweden has some seriously awesome metal bands, especially when it comes to power-metal.

My mate went to Sweden. He learned to say something along the lines of "I masturbate with this hand" , and something about wheelchairs. Therefore, when I think of Sweden, I think of masturbation and wheelchairs. Other stuff can come along later, but that's the first thing.

About a third of all Swedes are first or second generation immigrants so yeah; we got quite a lot of ethnicity and it's pretty awesome(second generation immigrant from Germany myself).

Sweden is pretty awesome; I'm proud to live here. Too bad every single fucking politician in the parliament and to the right of the parliament parties are fucking retarded.

Oh, and the following groups can go and die:
Brats
Raggare/Rockabillys
"Patriots"
"Nationalists"
Skåningar/Scanians

Everyone else(except Hammarby supporters); we coo'!

I'm just pissed that the comedic swedish stereotype always seems to be a mix up of German and Swiss culture. And german accents, ALWAYS GERMAN ACCENTS

I knew a girl online from Sweden and she was a sweetheart. Outside of that I don't know much but you seem like nice enough people so you get a Yes from me. The good thing about Sweden is you don't get much in the news about them good or bad so you can make judgements based off individual experience. I am sure if you asked a similar question about America or Japan you would get a much different view a bit more variance between the Yes and No column.

I did meet a few Swedish communists who were a-holes and overly thuggish and disrespectful of opposing view points but if I held the few dicks against every country I'd have to hate everybody.

I may have missed that part, but it quite clearly says:
'Do you like people from sweden?'
So maybe you want to edit that part. As for the country? Again, like any country, there's bits I like and bits I don't like. Ditto with the politics, ditto with the art, ditto with the culture. How can we give exact answers. As you can see, I dislike polls very very very much. You could have made a cool thread on Sweden but missed it with a poll choice.

Sweden is cool they are the home of truly awesome metal bands!

Plus I hear that the Swedish military is properly funded so they have a military with better equipment than the USA. Shame you don't see much Swedish equipment around, the Gripen and stealth boats.
Stealth boats are like ninja elephants in the middle of football fields. They try so hard, but they're still very easy to spot.

I think the landscapes there are quite beautiful, and the language really is a delight to my eyes. It seems like a pretty cool place.

I heard from my friend who was an exchange student that the Swedish are really nice people; to your face. Apparently they're quite two faced and talk behind your back and whatnot.... also, ripped jeans make the host family look poor. And apparently he missed how grateful Americans are, I guess its because we habitually say thank you and you're welcome and stuff like that.

All in all though, I can't say anything since I've never met one.
