Not a massive RPG player, so I've only really had contact with Dogmeat from Fo3.

He's fecking useless. I loose him all the time, he gets in the way in combat, and he's weak as fuck. He isn't even that cute. About the only thing he's good for is finding ammo, and after like level 12, finding ammo isn't really an issue anyway. Useless mutt...
