Poll: Trilogy... as in 3?

the poll has only one option. therefore, it's not a poll, it's an attempt at gaining support for your cause from others.

i too say "no" because i initially played price of persia 3 and i found it just as rewarding without playing the 1st 2 games.
if a story is self-contained (mostly), then you don't have to play the other games.

Unless it is a heavily story dependent game, it isn't really necessary to play all the games in a trilogy. It is beneficial to your understanding and enjoyment, but not really something someone needs to go out of their way to do.

I didn't play the whole of the halo trilogy and I have no doubt my life is the better for it.

I concur. Choosing not to play Halo first time around is probably one of the better decisions I have made in my life.

I won't say the first one was horrible but I did play it in a room full of friend so the insane samey crap everyone else noticed didn't register, I just got my run-and-gun on.

You need to play all the games to enjoy the full experience, but if just one of the games entertain you in the slightest, you've enjoyed an experience.

I concur. Full is the key word here.
