I seem to remember hearing about a similar incident occurring with the movie Kill Bill. I guess they had to show a particularly gory part of the movie in black and white because the sheer amount of gore was causing people to go into shock or something.

Probably more so for Twilight fans; I doubt all of them were prepared to see Eddy
giving Bella a c-section with his teeth.

We're talking about a series where a vampire can somehow reproduce and where said vampire's "wife" gives birth by her vampire husband chewing through her womb in some form of a fucked up caesarean.

I'd fake a seizure to get out of watching that.

I voted "other" because my hatred for this film series goes beyond a petty "dislike".

What the hell kind of mess did they turn the birth scene into to induce seizures? o_o

Thank god my girlfriend only likes the books and not the movies. This way i can get away with only having seen one of the movies and then never having to touch that stuff ever again. Unless she ever gets it into her head i have to read the books, but fortunately she's aware i'm illiterate :p

Man I just stay far and away from the series and live and let live, but I just finished watching the review by Doug from that guy with the glasses...

Twilight trying to act like it knows what it's talking about and exposing teenage girls to stuff like that graphic scene and approaching the whole issue of abortion as evilly as they did?

Bad movies can be bad movies and we can laugh at them. It takes a lot to be a genuine horrible movie that is a scourge on society and is actively making today's world worse.

I voted other, as I have never read the books or seen the movie.

They deserve to go through a seizure because they went to see a movie? What the hell is wrong with you?

I hate to bump this thread but I feel I have to make a point here.

I'm not a fan of twilight and I used to bash it left right and center until I saw moviebobs big picture episode where he said if we guys get the impossibly dressed big breasted ladies, then we should STFU and let the girls have the twilight guys.

Anyway on the the point I want to make.
Some people are wondering how the heck this couple could have a kid since he's a vampire and doesn't have a beating heart and all that. Well people, this particular thing has already happened, in fact it happened over a decade ago.

Can I safely assume at least some of you know Castlevania?
Alright, well for those who don't know, Castlevania is about a family of vampire hunters who are fated to destroy Dracula. However one of the people who also opposes Dracula is a man named Adrian Fahrenheit Tepes, better known as Alucard, the half human son of Dracula and his human wife Lisa.

If Dracula, the damn father of the vampire race (at least as far as Castlevania goes) is capable of fathering a child the old fasioned way, then it's not really that big a stretch for Edward to do it, especially since neither the Castlevania version of Dracula, which is based on Bram Stokers version of Dracula, which in turn was based on the actual Dracula of legend or Edward (as far as I know) are typical vampires.

That sound like to me him either
"Faking a seizure to get out of Twilight"
Or
"Laughing so heard he past out"
Maybe all the 'seizures' were from the guys seeing the opportunity and taking it to get out

After last years occurrence of a 24 year old male literally DYING when he went to see Eclipse, this is only further proof of what we've known all along, that Twilight is not just bad, it's LIFE THREATENINGLY HORRIFIC.

That first guy was smart, faking a seizure to get out of it, his girlfriend wasn't the wiser.
Win

This is what I was thinking when I read the OP and saw the reported victims were two guys. Pretty sure they were just tired of the movie.

EDIT: I'll admit, I tried reading the first book. Didn't make it through the first page.

Oh man that's hysterical. It's as if the movie's so bad it has developed a mystical arc of the covenant effect on any fool enough to gaze upon it. I think it also mean I am now allowed to post this whenever someone asks the question, "Are the Twilight movies any good?"

Also the people who are coming in here and just talking about how bad it is without even posting anything related to the topic. Does not belong here.

You seriously expect people not to bash this franchise, on these forums? Dude it's a past time for us second only to ripping on Michael Bay and his awful Transformer movies.

What about Call of Duty and Halo? This is a gaming forum.

OT: All the jokes I could have made about this have already been done, so I don't have much to say beyond the fact that this is pretty funny.

Edit: Wow, I just noticed that six people answered "yes" to the poll. I suppose there's always a few...

Oh right, and vampires sparkle so thats why they stay out of the light. PLEASE!

If that WAS true they could just call it a skin condition and all vampires could walk around with their sparkly skin and be all like "Yeah, its a skin condition, wanna fight about it?"
And then other people would be like, "Hell yes. Bring it, disco ball."

OT: I feel sorry for the people who've had seizures, but I kind of expect watching the Twilight movies to have adverse medical effects anyway. Like IQ dropping and bloody noses.

But with the new trend of filmmaking with these fast 1-sec clips strung together, isn't it dangerous for epileptic people to go to the cinema nowadays in the first place?
