When you've just finished reading Watchmen and you pick up the book Twilight you have a really hard time taking all the characters seriously. I mean, come on...
Would you rather read about heroes who have complex psychological personalities and you can relate to or get behind with, no matter how horrid the things they've done, or would you rather read about a vampire that sparkles and doesn't do anything. At all.
Okay maybe once.
But still.
There is a lot of good literature out there that can kick Twilight's ass reeeally quick, and it doesn't get any of the attention.
