I'll see it because of the wolves. ;O
Are you sure the wolves are even able to make it good? :p

We can dream, we can dream. How about we bring in actual vampires as well, like Dracula?

I haven't seen New Moon yet, so I'm excited. I have seen Twilight, and didn't hate it though.
Really? You saw Twilight? Eh, one of my friends wanted me to see it. I couldn't finish it. The movie failed to hold my interest. But, I'll admit I read the first 2 books. My friend and I went to Florida last summer, and he brought them(His mom bought them for him because she just assumed that because it was about vampires he'd like it). I read them to see what all the fuss is about. Not the best thing I've read, but not the worst.

It's directed by the same guy who made a decent vampire film. Hope he makes something out of this.

As I thought... cinematography and directing: Looks fantastic. Acting: Bollocks.

I guess I should watch New Moon first.
I think Twilight doesn't deserve the hate OR praise it gets.
It's above average for a movie, but obvioulsy there are better ones *the fifth element*

It just looks so bland, I'm not a fan of the series in terms of story, acting, music or writing which only leaves the action part

As an action film it just looks a bit boring. The costumes should make see if it's a war so I would have liked to seen armour, vampire weapons or just something a bit more special than just random guys in jeans and t-shirts flying over to each other

No, but they're the only reason I'll see it regardless. ;O
Well those wolves do look decent, and big. Geez, what do they eat? Purina Mutant Chow? Anyways, let me know how it is. I might, might watch it online.

When you become insane, even the most vibrant of outfits becomes ninja'esque. It defies the laws of nature, I know, but so do Twi-Hards.

OT: I read the first book once, tossed it into my fireplace. It was more useful that way. That should about sum up my resolve for this topic.

Will do. I should probably see New Moon before I see Eclipse, though...
Maaaaan, with that logic, I'd have to finish Twilight and see New Moon..Oh well. At least it's not a Uwe Boll movie.

To be honest i wouldnt say the acting is brilliant but it isnt too bad. I love how people say it spoils the original vampire movies and yet, i can watch the old movies with the true vampires and still love them. Twilight saga merely tries to show a different light. After all, do we really know what a vampire might look like? No... For all we know, Stephanie Meyer might have gotten it closely right.

If you havnt already guessed, im dying to see Eclipse and have even converted my boyfriend to try watching them (not that he didnt want to in the first place) and now he's quite happy to come watch it with me at the cinema so im happy ^^

I read the first three books and wasn't impressed. I dislike how Bella seems to be an okay person- until she falls for Edward. And then when he leaves her (after promising her he won't), she turns suicidally depressed, which I think is a bad example to lay on teen girls. I was also mildly squicked out by Edward's stalker-ish behavior (breaking into her house to watch her sleep- if I found out someone had done that to me, I wouldn't call it romantic, I'd call the police and get a restraining order!). I never read the fourth book, I'd lost interest long before that point, but I have been informed of the ending (I won't spoil it, only to say it's not a happy one).

So not interested in watching movies of those books, either. And yes, I am a woman. There are other series I prefer more.

No, I'm not going to see it. Not because I hate the series, I just don't care about it.

Am I the only one who thought "Chronicles of Narnia: Really Stupid Edition" when watching the trailer?

While I think the twilight films are better than the books, I still don't really like them, so I probably won't go and see this.

Hmmm....pay money to see this? No, just...no. I sat through the first movie to see what the big deal about it was (both the love and hate for it) and no, I will not continue to watch this shameful and boring dreck.

New Moon was actually fairly enjoyable, for the record. It's not a masterpiece but it was at least better than Twilight. It's primary focus is on the werewolves. Edward doesn't even show up until the end of the film which might have been what I liked most.

Read the above and then marry me for Spartacus, The Fifth Element, and admitting Twilight isn't a good or bad film.

No. No way.

The books are decent, from what I've heard, but the movies are the most terrible, asinine garbage since... I don't know... Gigli.

I'm going to see the fourth movie, though. I have got to see how they make a PG-13 movie out of all that body horror, pedophilia and rough vampire sex.

Hmmm...will there be blood sucking, mutilating, devastating aristocrats who can rip shit up like a crazy mess of gothic literature and bloodiness that is required?

Well, if not, I could always just go watch Daybreakers again...Though, in fairness, the movies are hilarious if taken out of context. And the girl is quite good, and the wolf guy, what's his name, Jacob? does have some decent stunts that might be useful later in his career.
