How often do you type a reply saying what you really think, then just move on (without hitting the Post button)?

Say what you mean. Mean what you say. If you think in a way that doesn't fit in here, you shouldn't be here.

And this pointless thread is pointless.

I usually hit post, but sometimes decide it isn't worth it.

Normally I make sure that my post loads before I move on to another topic. Just a little habit

I frequently hit post, only to hit the edit button a couple seconds later.

I write something, check it either adds something new or reinforces the argument, check again to make sure I'm not being overly controversial, then hit post. There have been times I've realised I didn't really have anything to add to an open and shut thread, so just moved on.

Quite often; if I feel that what I'm about to say isn't really relevant to the discussion, or potentially inflammatory, I may just leave it.

More often than not, I will type a reply, then not bother to send it. I'm sorely tempted to abandon this post, too. Oh the irony.

I have once and only once. Mainly because I was talking to some friends and hit back by mistake. Other times I just hit back because I decide that it just isn't worth it.

I can't argue with a man who has such a Nice Hat.
The Pope is, indeed, right.
And we can't fault someone for something that didn't happen, right? Media only made that mumbo jumbo up to smear a Time Man-of-the-year's reputation in the dirt.

I find that i get in the middle of a post and then realize i'm either being a troll or just posting for the complete hell of it.
I sometimes also feel as if i won't get a response...

I usually do, but then I realize that I will get quoted a ton for it so I just move onto another thread. Sometimes I am really tempted to tell someone off, but then I usually just pm a mod about it and go along my merry way to IRC.

I always click Post. I don't see the point in typing something if you aren't going to bother posting it. Although I occasionally get beaten by the mods locking a thread, or else my crappy internet connection dies on me (even more so tonight for some strange reason), so I simply give up if I fail to post the first time. Usually though, I always click Post if I bother to type anything.
