It's one of those movies I thought was awesome the first time, but the second time I saw it I thought to myself.

"Wait, what? This was funny? No way!"

Best part of Napoleon Dynamite was that the Blood Elf males in WoW took his dance. Otherwise it was a complete waste of my time

the problem with napolean dynamite is that it was completely ruined by douchebags quoting lines to death and wearing "vote for pedro" shirts.
the reason its funny (or at least the reason i find it funny) is that its so incredibly offbeat and different. sure the jokes are stupid, but the genius of the movie is that they're intentionally, almost ironically stupid. i can understand how seeing it once it became so over-hyped would completely ruin it.

I found it mildly humorous before it was quoted into a coma only to have John Heder (or however the fuck you spell it) do a bunch of movies in which he played virtually the same character.
Truth. Same deal with Borat, funny until quoted to death.

The only worthwhile part of the movie was the dance, which was amusing enough for me to consider the movie borderline mediocre, and without that scene, the movie would be a steaming sack of quadriplegic bodily waste evacuation.

Its a classic. It was stupidly funny, and thats hard to pull off properly, and even harder for a family movie (I'm glaring at you Jackass). And it is still funny if I give it a few months between viewings. Plus the dance at the end was epic.

I have several friends who thought it was amazing, so I decided to see what the hub-ub was and found I cant watch past the llama part, I've tried twice but I have to stop at that part.

The jokes weren't funny, the characters were stupid, and it was overall cringe worthy.

I've seen it. I'd watch it again if it was the only thing on, but I wouldn't stick it in the DVD slot out of choice. A resounding "meh".

i might find it funny if it wasn't so damn annoying, the way he never opens his eyes and stuff just really irritates me.

This post is more creative, funny, and entertaining than Napolean Dynamite was.

I've found that Napoleon Dynamite defines peoples personalities quite well. Those who loath it are generally less than enjoyable to be around.

That movie was terrible, no pacing, no memorable scenes, the characters were dull, the scenery was dull, every character sounded like they were punched in the jaw off set. It was two hours of tedium.
