If it's signing up for a website like this, I'll enter my real birthdate. If I'm prompted about it for videos, I'll just click random things.

Usually I go out of my way to insult the age verification process, and say I was born in a year in the 1800's.

Y'know, I always wonder how the people that developed that age verification tool justified putting the years before 1940 or so. It's like they thought "It's highly improbable that someone over the age of 70 will be interested in the next GTA trailer... but you never know." I just think it's weird.

OT: I'm over 18 so I put in my real birthdate. I don't see any point not to.

I'm old enough to watch whatever videos I want. But just to be funny I like to put in whatever random date my mouse clicks on first.

Failing its availability

06/06/1966

Still not a fan of entering in legit info into something that has in essence no reason or need to know.

If I desperately want to watch the vid I'll do the quickest possible way...if I'm not in a hurry I'll type in 1/1/1111

I've started skipped the day and month I was born 'cos damn it, I'm twenty-bloody-eight years old; I'm beyond being a month or a day too young to watch something. I only enter the year.

Oh lord, I'm twenty-bloody-eight... Depressed now. D`=

I tend to enter the earliest possible birthdate, usually 1911. Months and days are random though.

I love screwing with a websites statistics.

I'm over 18, but in the interests of getting to the video quickly, I only usually submit the correct year and randomly pick a month. It's not that I'm touchy about giving out my birthdate, it's just faster to select something random than going through the trouble of finding the exactly correct numbers.

Additionally, it's a bit confusing when it's done the American way (month/day/year)...too much time thinking, more time video watching :p

When I was 18, such things didn't exist, and the internet was a mostly unregulated frontier... and I tend to enter January 1st, something close to my birth year (so, 1977-1983ish).

You do know that the attack on Pearl Harbor is less a major event and more a footnote in history taught outside the US, right?

I'd use my real birthday, but it's a lot easier to choose the default January (or if it's just a blank default instead of January, then just scroll down one month) than scroll all the way down to December.

So I just make some shit up

My actual Birthday...but that's because I'm a bit obsessive and feel I have to put my actual birthday.

I'm over 18 but usually just do 1 - 1 - and the scroll down to a year in the 1900s (because I have had it before where it locks you out for being impossibly old)

My birthday IS the 1st January, so it's usually almost defaulting to my actual birthday anyway. If I'm not overly trusting of the site, I'll put the year slightly off to cover my back.
