Poll: What class do you play in Team fortress 2?

There are many classes, all playing differently. My favorite class is the Sniper. Picking people off from so far away, that they can't see me. What is your favorite class and why?

Personally if I see a gap in the team tactics then I'll fill it, as a good team member should, but I really try to avoid Scout and Soldier as... I just really suck at soldier and as a scout I can be good but like a lower death rate xD
I also try to hold off playing Sniper or Engineer as I'm hoping there are others better and don't want to clog spaces... unless of course they are being avoided, then I gap fill.

My personal preferences are Spy, Heavy or Medic. Infiltrate the enemy secretly taking them down slowly and softening them up for my team, or I blast through them or help someone stay alive while blasting through them.

Soldier, Demo, Spy, and Engineer are my favorite classes to play, I especially like playing Soldier with Gunboats since that allows me to be very mobile. Need to get better at doing those horizontal rocket jumps though. Medic can be fun with a good team, Heavy and Pyro are no fun for me at all unless I go feests-only as Heavy, which is a lot of fun. I'm an awful Scout and Sniper so they are no fun for me to play.

And I am really terrible at sniping, so much so that I just think the hit detection is trolling me half the time.

There I am, minding my own business, when all of a sudden *stab*, "spies sappin' mah sentry", "spies sappin' mah teleporters" and of course "spies sappin' mah dispenser". Just fuck off, okay? GAWD! Over powered douches....

I'm joking with yall but I love me engie.

It's the class I think can help the most, gives out constant ammo and health, gets the all important heavy to the front as quickly as can be and defends choke points really well (except when you use the little farting sentry with a blue light on).

Also, his shotgun is a bit of a beast, the revenge crit one I mean. I have no clue what it's called.

Zat shottie vould be ze Frontier Justice.

Soldier is my bread and butter.

Also, damaging myself to low HP and equalizer rushing is, without a doubt, THE most fun I've ever had playing Team Fortress 2.

I play a subclass. Not a demoknight, not a demoman, but a demopan. I really just run around with a frying pan as a demoman, generally without a Chargin' Targe, and beat people to death while listening to the incredibly satisfying sound of pan-to-player collision.

Generally that, but occasionally I beat people with that piece of fish with the scout. It has that humiliating "Hit With Fish" thing where the deaths usually are. I really just don't enjoy using guns in that game.

Really the only class that I never play as is soldier since I'm awful as him.

Heavy is my favorite to play. I love eating that sandvich.

Though I play more than just the heavy, I play what's needed. Having five people on your team who all insist on playing spy means you lose.

I'm one hell of a medic.


I swear to god, everyone needs a medic. My second best class is sniper. I managed to headshot nine people in a row on my best day and at least two on my worst.

Actually, I'm good with all the classes except gfor engineer and soldier. Hell, I'm starting to become rather good with demoman.

I like all the classes. I love running fast and laying a surprise back splatter with the scout, an unsuspecting headshot on an enemy, a solder rocket blast tearing up a sentry, and a quick back stab on unattentive enemies.

I typically use the Scout as my main, though I will change it up depending on the needs of battle. But yeah, if I can help it, I go with Scout. I've always prefered speed characters, and the chatty little bastard is the fastest you can get.

Usually? The Sniper, gotta love his Aussie accent and his mannerisms when shooting. I do play as a medic whenever I wish to get onto the front and actually aid my allies, however. Favorite class definitely goes to the sniper, hands down.

i either roll spy sniper, or demo(my 3 favs) usually

depends on what type of mood i'm in and what i feel like playing as,that said most of my time is spent as spy(but not by much) because lets face it its awesome to stalk your prey invisibly then disguise as there teammate and when they turn around to see me disguised and they think there safe deep in there base only to be killed in one hit and then i slink away to wreck more havoc elsewhere in there base,there's a certain thrill to killing people so many times the same way and causing mass amounts of paranoia all the while breaking engineers toys and slinking in the shadows( i once gave a sniper a borderline panic attack, plus i find the infiltration aspect of spy game play thrilling as well

but i also play sniper because i enjoy the hunt and the satisfaction that comes from killing someone from across the map, plus i like to hunt the spy's that think they have the drop on me(i sometimes let them get away just so i can find and kill them)i also love the snipers laid back/big game hunter personalty, its just plain awesome

and when i roll demo i either do is because i REALLY want to kill people with a sharp object(or a pan)and because charging in and then beating them to death is SO satisfying,or lure them into a deathtrap with way to many stickies than necessary
, plus killing someone with a loch'n'load is just so satisfying
basically i like being sneaky in one form or another(unless i play deomkinght then i just want to bash your head in)

Depends on the situation, generally. Mostly, Pyro and Soldier. Sniper only if the other team is just sniping alone.

I'm surprised to be in the minority. I feel like there's always too many demomen, and I often play medic or soldier instead, to keep the class balance of my team within the limits of sensibility.

Every class except scout and sniper. Big fan of playing Medic when there is none because you suddenly have a lot of people suddenly who put support fire for you. Also I murder scouts with medic.
