I currently have blue-grey eyes, they seem to switch between.
Purple would be nice, then I could claim to be a Cadian.
Red would be good for cosplay, I guess.

I voted blue originally; but now that I think about it blue would be too off on my face. I think green would be just right in granting a feeling of uneasiness yet, at the same time appear pretty piercing. I may buy non-prescription lens that are green at one point, just to have that affect on people.

I have blue, which I am pretty happy with, if I had to choose a different color though, it would be either gold or purple. I'm pretty torn between the two but I think in the end I would go with purple, I think gold looks fantastic but its too flashy for my taste. You'd always be able to pick a guy with gold eyes out of a crowd, and forget hiding in the dark with your eyes open.

I wanted red eyes for a while, but that would look weird.

Nowadays I want gray eyes. They're a good complement to my hair. That and they look cool.

My actual eye color fluctuates between green and brown.

I have blue/gray eyes, but I've worn green tinted (read: my eyes are basically teal as the blue can be seen through the green tint) contacts for... 16? 17? 18? years now? Half my life, at the least, probably longer.

Yeah, heterochromia is a bit annoying. I have blue/green complete heterochromia - one eye blue, one eye green - as well as gold central heterochromia - a golden-brown starburst-looking thing around my pupils. So they're both somewhat subtle instances... which means whenever anyone notices either type of heterochromia, they: 1) just keep staring at my eyes for a while, 2) point it out to whoever happens to be near, or 3) go on a minor rant about how cool my eyes are. It leads to a lot of people calling my eyes pretty, though, so I suppose that's not a horrible thing.

OT: I voted gold. As in... bright gold, cat's iris style. Pair that with my copper-red hair and I'd be amazingly fiery-looking. It'd be almost the complete opposite of my actual personality.
I'm totally going to be one of those people and say it.

Fine, fine. Ask and you shall receive- but only my eyes, as I've always been paranoid about posting my picture on the internet. It's a bit of a crappy picture, but good enough.

And forgive the slightly dead look. I've just gotten back from donating blood. (Where they told me I have pretty eyes. Why would anyone tell me that while draining a pint of blood out of me?)

I have dark blue eyes, and sometimes I wish they were a little lighter, or greyer. But I don't think I would change them, if I could. I wore colored contacts occasionally years ago, and they are usually made for people with brown eyes, so going from blue to hazel, green, or brown just never looked right or blended well at all.

I chose Purple but when I saw purple, I mean the insanely bright, neon shade...or something more celestial, like this:

Alright, basic question for all you Escapists: if you could choose what color your eyes were, what would you pick? I'm afraid that the poll didn't have room for an "other" option, so if it's not one of the ones on the list than just type it out.
Green. I've always wanted green eyes instead of the boring brown ones I was born with.

Also you forgot Hazel eyes. It's not an uncommon eye color, and it is natural.

I would like either ice blue or lime green. Purple would imply that I'm mysterious, black - I'm possessed, red - I'm evil, gold - I'm a fairy, grey - maybe,it could backfire and make me look souless, brown - I'm brown-eyed, and it's boring: there's no sparkle or pazzaz.

Why is it a crappy picture?
My god, if only my camera could make my eyes look as good as they do when I see them in the mirror.

This is a Mary Sue test, right? Like, if I pick "Purple with golden stars forming constellations" I get my Escapist membership revoked?

That's really interesting, also that's a pretty nice picture. It's fairly subtle though, I bet most people wouldn't notice unless you tell them.
Maybe they just thought it would be a nice compliment?

Back on topic: As for me... I think if I could have any color eyes I'd like red eyes. It may look evil, but it would also be unique and red is my favorite color. But... since that might get me weird looks after awhile I might just prefer to stick to my current hazel/ green eyes.

They do look pretty :p
And yeah, like someone else said, I think (at least with the lighting from the picture) it's really subtle and a lot wouldn't notice without being told.

In the spirit of an eye for an eye (stupid pun...sorry)
