Superhuman for a generic term. It really depends on what kind of powers they have for what specific term I'd use though.

"Ubermenschen," but that's probably just the angsty Nietzsche-wannabe teenager in me that refuses to die.

More likely, "Threat to National Security."

Conduit. Cookies for the reference.
I'm rather liking Conduit, but that's for specific types of powers, nominally ones that require channeling of some form or another. I would call them GAPs, or something like that, for Genetically Altered Person. Also would symbolize how they are apart from the rest of us (across a Gap, you see).
Yeah, but inFAMOUS did cover a wide range of powers. Telekenesis, Electrical Manipulation, Invisibility, Telepathy, Spontaneious Robotic Crab Production, etc.
Fair enough, but does rather exclude transmuting your body (Prototype), Flight (glide thrusting doesn't count), Copying powers, fire, frost, speed...Though I would totally rather be a Conduit than anything in any superpowered mythos, as point of preference.

Egh Metahuman I guess.

^Covers HUMANS. Aliens for all we bloody know are just born that way* and don't need a special name other than the term their race gives them. Any kind of bionic consciousness is still human also.

*Case in point for the sake of exhibition: Starfire

I like the term when I heard it, covers pretty much every human-esque super powered thinga-majig.

I'd use Superhuman (or meta-human, I saw that posted a couple times) as the general term. Some of the other choices were too specific with what they encompass.

you know, I'd probably call them by their NAME.

Depends what powers. Mentat is a good one for smarties.

Myself, I am a park ranger. So if I had special powers, I would be a power ranger.

That doesn't bear thinking about.

Superhuman makes the most sense. Others kinda sound weird. ESPer sounds like people who specialize only in mind reading and if you watched later seasons of Heroes (I know you didn't) you'd hear people with powers being called "Specials" but that just sounds like a gang of people with mental problems.
