Poll: What do you call split screen cheating?

Ok I got into an argument over what the proper terminology for split screen cheating is called. I have always used "screen hopping" and all my friends looked at me like I was crazy, but then again I am crazy...but I digress. They were set on it being called "screen peeking" or even "screen cheating". I'm not saying I'm right and they are wrong, but am curious as to what other people use.

EDIT: i added screen looking to poll. I've heard of this, but just forgot about it

Screening. Seriously its only two-syllables and its so naturally obvious, that me and my brothers and three separate friend groups all came up with it without talking to each other about it (we were pretty surprised that all of us had come up with exactly the same term.

Screen Watching... Though I let my housemates screen watch me because they don't know where I am anyway until I stab them.

I've always called it Screen Watching, I guess its most similar to Screen Looking but I chose other.

Pretty sure there is no 'proper' terminology. But interesting topic, still.

I was about to say this had 4 pages and no one mentioned "Screen Watching" yet? Yeah I've never heard of it as anything else well other than cheating.

I guess it's who you know from before online went widespread like northern United States calling Coke-Cola and others "Pop" Southern States "Soda" and what I've heard about in Canada "Coke"(regardless of the company making it.)

At least on LANs (I'm a PC-person), when someone looks at someone else's with the intent of seeing where he is, we call it ghosting. Not sure if this translates to split-screen though, but I guess it's sorta similar. I don't really get how you're supposed to NOT look at the other screen in split-screen though. It's just natural to look at the entire screen, because that's what you've been doing for years while playing. Hard to readjust that for just a few hours.

It's been 'Screen scoping' since the days of 007 on Nintendo 64.

Ah, this brings back many happy Goldeneye memories. Those were the days.

OT: I can't say I've ever thought about naming the procedure. I don't even really consider it cheating, just another element of strategy.

I tend to call it:

"Dude, stop looking at my f*cking screen! You cheating little b*stard..."

But that's not on the poll. I guess since the above sentence used the word 'looking' I'll go for screen-looking.

Pretty sure it doesn't have a name and giving it one just sounds odd to me.

What I refer to as "split screen cheating" Is when developers don't set the split screen to render at widescreen. Even on my 52in tv all i get is a 27in game... Pisses me off.

I've always known it as "screen watching". It'll vary from person to person I suppose.

I call it screen looking, same as most of the people I know. I've heard screen peeking once or twice though.
