I'm 16 and I try my best to get in bed at around 10:00 on school nights. So, I'd say that 9:30 or 10:00 would be reasonable for her.

I would say 11, but I'd be a hypocrite seeing as I sleep at midnight. I'd still say 11's pretty reasonable. But, when you're older, you should be able to decide for yourself/sleep at different times.

6:00pm.

And remember: Early to bed, early to rise (makes a man girl healthy, wealthy and wise!)
I think it goes more like "Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy and socially dead."

Or, as Colbert put it,
Early to bed and early to rise makes you a loser. Let's party all night long. This Is the Colbert Report!

Well I'm 14 years old and during the school week I go to bed around 9:30 and wake up at around 6:30 the following day.

On weekends I get to bed a little later and consequenty wake up a little later so to me the weeknight sleep regime seems reasonable as I really do have to be awake by 6:30 so I guess it just boils down to how much sleep you need for your activities and what time you need to get up for your routine.

At that age I had to go to bed at 9:00. I feel no pity for her. 12:00 is way way too late for her. Now days I got to bed around 1 am or 2. I used to not fall asleep while still in high school until 12 and I was tired as hell the next day.

When you are younger, I would really recommend getting more than the bare minimum on sleep. Get her to bed at 10. Going off of bare minimum isn't helping anyone, least of all herself.
I agree. Also lack of sleep kind of Stacks on you making you less and less productive as time passes.

For school nights, I'm in bed by 11.
I usually watch T.V. until 12.

So yes, 12 is reasonable.

I work shift work, so any time I get 8 hours is a reasonable time. Reasonable really depends on when you work/go to school.

I go to bed at 12-1... My school days usually don't start before 10 though. Now, during summer break, I usually go to bed at 2-3 am.

Ever since I was 16, my "bed time" was whenever I was tired.
And since I didn't give two shits about school back then, I usually slept through at least half of my classes.

But, for a healthy youngster, I'd say 12 at the latest.
11 would be better.

And now, it's still whenever I feel tired, or when there's nothing good on tv.

On a school night, I generally stay up until 1 AM. (This only gives me five hours of sleep, however.)

When there's no school, I go to bed when I get tired.

Your sister would be complaining if her bedtime was at 2 in the morning. And 12 is far later than any sane parent would set the bedtime to.

I don't think there is such thing as a truly reasonable time, it depends on your schedule. If you've got nothing to do the next day, it doesn't matter what time it is one bit as long as you end up getting enough sleep. The time of day has nothing to do with it.
