the whole bacon is / isnt pork argument is probably a geographic one a lot of places like America dont actually get what we Europeans call bacon they get a different cut which is basically crap pork. for those of us that are familiar with in particular Danish and English bacon , we lucky few , we know the truth ;)

Bacon with chicken in second place. And how the hell is bacon not one of the top three?!

I am a roast duck man. First time I ever had it was like an orgy in my mouth, Uncle Iro was right. That stuff is delicious as all hell. Sadly I don't get to have it that often as very few restaurants i've been to have it on the menu and I can not for the life of me find any duck in a store.
You know who sells whole ducks ready to be sauced and roasted?

That's right WAL-MART. Come join us in basking in it's glory for it is perfection granted physical form. For it is the one place I can find my favorite meat, Tasty varren skewers with tummy tingling Tuchanka sauce. >:D

I voted "other"

Toss up between venison and lamb for me: both delicious and somewhat gamy.

But I also love, in no particular order: beef, pork, bison, duck, rabbit, pretty much any fish, squid, octopus, quail, bear, turkey, chicken... special mention for veal (sorry hippies, but suffering is delicious)...

hmm that's all the delicious animals that I have personally eaten that I can remember right now.

>:D

Edit: Oh! and of course shell-fish... mussels, oysters, clams, scallops...
Edit the second: CRAB! and LOBSTER! prawns and SHRIMP!
Edit the third: EEL should be on there too! delicious greasy eel!
I am getting hungry :(
You forgot crayfish, alligator, ostrich, frog legs, escargot, squid, octopus, and iguana. I love traveling abroad, so much tasty flesh to sample.> :D

Wal-mart has duck? Son of a *****, it was under my nose the whole time. Sadly though, there is no Wal-mart where I live. Just a very small Krogers that I doubt has any duck. Even if they did I wouldn't be able to cook it since i'm living in college dorms and we don't have an oven.

I actually don't eat beef or pork, which chopped off a number of the options for me. I do find fish and birds to be quite delicious though.

Wheres the beef? Seriously I want some. *Rummages through your fridge*. Where is it!!!

I like the vast majority of your more common meats. Once you start getting into 'game' meat, well I'll taste and see.

Duck. Duck is good =D

In terms of meat I can realistically afford to actually regularly eat without hunting it myself?

Instant Noodles - chicken flavour. Thanks, Grad School! ;-P

Dear god. Chicken.

If any of you are man enough, buy some "Slap Ya Mama" cajun seasoning (hot) and then use it as a dry rub on chicken (both sides). Bake for 38 minutes at 350 degrees and put over rice.

You're welcome (I srsly eat this meal at least 5 times a week. When you're a student working full time, it's hard to cook a lot of variety. But yeah...I buy that seasoning in packs of 18 cans >.>)
