Well the title pretty much tells it all. What's your favourite and why? Also Escapist needs to get polls that have more than 8 options and don't always get eaten.

Mine is Metalocalypse but you can probably guess that from my avatar. Why, because I like metal and Dr.Rockso kicks ass.

EDIT: I will take Avatar and Boondocks etc. because they are aimed at western audiences and are primarily in English.

EDIT2: Because of the poll limit the first 7 I could think of were put on, so quit whining about the poll.

EDIT3: Bugger the poll too many cartoons for too much poll limitation.

"Go into the water, live there, die there."

This album is intended for Fish only

If that doesn't make sense it's probably 'cause of all the cocaine
... seriously a lot of cocaine.

Definitely Batman: The Animated Series. As far as I can tell Kevin Conroy is the best actor to play Batman and Mark Hamill is the best to play Joker.

Favorite cartoon?
Probably gotta be Transformers: Beast Wars or Transformers Animated.
I'm a huge TF buff lol.

But I also really love Batman: TAS, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Avengers: EMH.
But those two TF series are on top for me.

After a 24-way fist-fight between contenders such as Time Squad, the first season of Pokemon, and The Animaniacs, it was decided that Batman: The Animated Series came out on top. Why? Because it was probably the most in-depth show I could watch at the time that still ended up with a fist in someone's face or an explosion.

Gargoyles was a pretty awesome cartoon show that I loved as a kid. Of course, there were a lot of great ones from the 90s that are gone now. I also agree heavily with Batman: TAS.

So... stupid adult comedies are the only options, huh? 'Cause not a single one of those has anything on Avatar: The Last Airbender. An incredible fantasy epic with deeply-developed characters, gut-busting humor, a complex mythos, awesome action... a truly amazing show.

And before someone inevitably calls me on this: Avatar is not anime. Okay? Seriously, that needs to be cleared up...

But... but I have so many cartoons to choose from...

If I were to pick any particular one though, I think I'd go with Samurai Jack, at least this time around. It was actually one of the few cartoons my dad would actually want to sit and watch with my brothers and I when it came on and I really dug the way it looked and some of the characters that popped in.

Avatar isn't anime because the characters actually look Asian =D

OT: I'm going with Avatar too.

That would be MLP...

But Futurama isn't far behind.

Edit: And Avatar: The Last Airbender... When I can watch it that is =/

I'd have to say this, closely behind would be Beavis and Butthead, especially since they are coming back, such a classic lol

Right now? Top favorite is MLP: Friendship is Magic, with Regular Show at a close tie but ending up in second and Adventure Time in third.

Other favorites would also be The Amazing World of Gumball, Transformers Prime and Young Justice.

EDIT: Also totally forgot about Wakfu, another favorite of mine.

I'd have to go with the 90's. Not just one cartoon in the 90's, the 90's in general. Freakazoid, Swat Kats, Animaniacs, the list goes on. Hannah Barbara did not suck in the animation department. Even the 90's reboot of Johnny Quest was fun.
