Hello there, I was kinda curious about what OS' do the escapists use. Also, feel free to start a discussion, I am sure that is probably the only reason people go on forums, isn't it?

I currently have windows 7 64, along with an XP version on a virtual machine.
very comfortable for old programs and whenever I feel like playing Fallout 2.

I never tried other OS. I might give it a go one of these days...
I MIGHT.

I use Windows 7 Gamer 64bit. I really like the layout of everything now that I'm used to it.

I'm still using Tiger because I despise Windows, but refuse to pay Apple for a new OS because they annually make obsolete their previous system. :p

Vista on my laptop and XP on my Desktop. Though my desktop came with Vista too, it crashed a bunch and so I switched to XP. Now it crashes a slightly less bunch. Still crashes though. Curse those BSOD's! Curse them!

I fell sad now as I am the only one so far to use another form of Linux (Open-SUSE)
but for all purposes I do use Windows to play most games on if I don't have an alternative (i.e. Linux native versions)

You should add a Dual boot option

I dual boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu. There really should be an option for dual booting / multiple booting - I would imagine most Linux users have some other OS on there as well, or even multiple Linux distros.

I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64. It's pretty good, nice interface and features.

My only problem with it is that I personally think it could have been made to run more efficiently.

It takes way too much memory than it should for simply running the OS idly.

Been meaning to get a virtual machine set up. My mate has two, one running XP, one Linux, on his Win7 laptop, to play around with hacking XP. Kinda weird to see it.
OT: Windows 7, 64 bit.
